What is the resistance of kettle if it uses 4800 W of power on normal household electricit

You can calculate this using two formulae, the power equation W=VA and Ohms Law V=IR. Find current using Amps = Watts / Volts, then use ohms law, Resistance = Volts / Current. I guess this is not a question from the UK as it would exceed the UK domestic socket current limit.
