About Skylar
I’ve been tutoring math for over 7 years, supporting students as they prepare for IB and A-Level exams. With a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I bring both subject expertise and a proven track record of helping students succeed. My lessons focus on building solid conceptual understanding, because without it, memorization will only get you so far. I guide students through multiple problem-solving methods, showing that flexibility is key in tackling different types of questions. Past paper practice is a big part of our sessions—it’s where skills are tested, refined, and perfected. I’m especially experienced in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, and I make sure these core topics are fully mastered before we move on. My aim is to help you build confidence as well as competence.
