I base my tutoring on how the student understands they learn best, I have found the best approach is to first discuss the fundamental concepts at hand then allow them to watch me work through a problem, then to go through a similar problem together, before allowing the student to work with my guidance. Using lists as a strict guideline to ensure all aspects are covered to a strong level.
Every student has the ability to achieve their learning. I believe that with the right support and learning style we can achieve that target grade. I find your strengths and areas to develop. Focusing on the skills that need developing we create a unique personalised learning plan to help you succeed I have taught in many schools and different abilities of students.
I’m really enthusiastic about technology and have decided to pursue a degree and a career within Computer Science for that reason. This also makes me enthusiastic about the flexibility and teaching possibilities within online education. As such, I would like to tutor others online, using online tools and webcam to provide an immersive experience without physical presence.
I believe in teaching in chronological order beginning at the understanding and ending at the technique and then perfecting with repeated practice questions. I teach my students how to help themselves in their own time.
During our chat, I will try and work out what areas you are struggling on and structure our future lessons around that.
Basically my methodology is to understand where my students need assistance or help and we face that area and address it at once. I could also give tests and exam to assess learning in my students with time. If the student makes use of any text book or material we can go through that as well as a tool to help the student connect with what is being taught more easily.
If you have not started to learn this subject, I will teach you patiently with each chapter, make sure you understand all of it. And we will do some exam papers to check. If you just want to learn certain chapter, we can just focus on it and tackle some difficult questions. I also have some Chinese way to do the questions, which may be easier to understand.
How a lesson is structured really depends on the age range of the person I'm teaching, for younger children I would have a more relaxed lesson structure and for older people, I might be able to move faster with a starter, which would relate to the previous lesson and then I would get into the main topic carefully explaining each point and then we would finish off with a pleanary.
I offer private tuition in Maths and Physics at all levels from fundamentals up to A-Level. I can tailor lessons on request to fit a particular qualification/exam board, or to focus on a specific topic if needed. I focus on helping students develop an understanding of the topic, rather than memorize answers or formulas through repetition.
My lectures are prepared to respond to your needs. I apply an active method of learning, which involves you: you are not only a passive spectator of the lesson, you are conducted to understand and not only learn the topics through simple examples. I always enjoyed maths, physics and chemistry and technical subject of engieering and I make my best to help you in enjoying them as well.
Maths is formulaic. While the figures and circumstances in each question change, the method is always the same. So the best way to improve a students understanding is constant practice, from both exercises and past papers.
My teaching style is friendly and supportive. I engage my pupils well in learning because I speak at their level during lessons. Have taught Physics and Mathematics to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. Knowing students' prior knowledge is a key.
I base my lessons around where my students feel they are really struggling, especially as I begin to get to know them. I focus on a topic, which I run through and explain. I look at examples with the student, and run through exam questions. I try to break up my lessons by encourgaing different forms of revision other than just question after question, such as by making posters on the key formulas.
I as an educator know that student engagement is the key to learning retention and having a great overall classroom experience. With changing times, education requires adaptation and evolution. Students are not as easily captivated as before by simple colourful animations in textbooks and monotonous songs to correlate with learned concepts.
My teaching method is to customise lessons to the particular student. I base my classes on what will help the student achieve their goals. I approach each topic by attaching a real life situation to it, aiding the students understanding.
My approach in term of teaching is to make it as practical and enjoyable as possible, not only very formal sessions.I use a combination of teaching methods and tools including one to one discussion (explaining/ question and answer), visual reinforcement (animation/ video images), example questions.
I will skills developed during my graduate, postgraduate and research career to present lessons. I am an experienced electrochemist, I offer math, numerical methods including finite difference, boundary element and Monte Carlo method, and chemistry lessons to A-level, undergraduate and postgraduate.
I approach topics by first showing why the concept is important and then proceeding to related abstract concepts to specific real world applications. I aim to make learning fun as I believe learning can indeed be fun. I like working with enthusiastic students who are willing to gain knowledge and to learn.
Both traditional and modern style methods used depending on what you prefer. A combination of both is preferred to maximise learning and enhancement of subject field. So traditional style consists of: Rigorous notes/calculations on pen and paper. Board Application of books.
I'm looking to give Math lessons to students who are keen to improve on their existing knowledge. My teaching methods are unique and will focus on exam techniques and solving problems. I can give lessons to students of all levels from GCSE to A Levels. I am patient, friendly and invested in helping you achieve your goals.
My methodology in teaching is bease on main structure for learing in the simplest way which is very in teresting to learn because I believed that maths would be very interesting such a playing game and puzzels. Then I'm looking to creat some sample question wich is very close to the exams.
I teach only up to GCSE Level to account for the change in specification recently - My method of teaching is to assess the level of the student in each topic to be taught, and to focus first on their weaknesses and then to fortify their strengths once their weak points are brought up to a sufficiently high level.
I think everyone should be able to enjoy Maths, whatever their ability and to do so it is important to understand background concepts. I would like my lessons to be fun and engaging and focused on the key areas the student is struggling with.
I have achieved an A* in A-level Maths. My teaching method is helping one develop the technique to derive the answer and understanding the basic principles. This often makes it easier to apply various different principles to a complex problem.
I tend to adapt my teaching methods to the student, since I am well aware that we all learn differently. I will usually assess what level the student is at first, with some general problem solving tasks, and then begin my teachings from there, homing in on any misunderstandings until we can confidently answer similar questions independently.
I tailor myself to the school book that is being used at the pupil's school and focus on their individual problem areas. It's important to informally test the pupils understanding of mathematical section they're currently learning in class.
I have tutored a range of students from all backgrounds and can offer students methods of teaching that suits them! I have a lot of experience with students on the Autistic spectrum and am willing to try different ways in which to enrich your knowledge of mathematics. We will assess your strengths and weaknesses and work from there.
A 3rd year Maths student currently on track to achieve a 1st class and to become a maths teacher in secondary school. Student can tell me what they struggle with in maths, and I can help them break that difficulty down. I'm very patient and understand how hard maths can be, and all I want to do is to help people try their best and to achieve what you want.
I am 16 year old Thao. Nice to meet you:) I may be young but I can teach math don't worry. I have been recognised as an over-achiever in math throughout my life in high school and got an A* in Math for my GCSE. I am currently studying Math and Further Math A-Level. I'm pretty much a math nerd. If you want me for GCSE help, I will gladly help you.
I am pursuing masters in MSc Computing at De Montfort University and I will teach maths lessons to primary, secondary and undergraduate students. Firstly I will approach students, manipulate concrete objects and perform activities to arrive at a conceptual understanding of phenomena, situation or concept. My excellent strategy for stimulating creativity among students.

Perfect! Emma has been great for my son and he's really enjoyed being tutored by her.
Perfect! So pleased to have found Jeremy . He has helped my son regain his confidence in a subject (maths) he was comfortable in at GCSE level but was struggling to maintain the momentum at A level. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jeremy .
Perfect! She was very well prepared, she used my notes within her tutoring so the lesson is tailored for me personally. She has great time management skills, lessons are not extended for her benifit. Lastly she was very well informed within my subject;...
