When taking on a new student I first try to understand any areas where the student is struggling and then build up from the foundations to fill in those areas. I always aim to ensure my students not only know how to answer a question but, can explain why they have that answer and its significance.
I am passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. My journey into tutoring started when I started scheduling for other students; I have conducted personal training for colleagues and juniors alike I love passing my experience and knowledge in management, programming, networking etc. to other students and everyone interested in learning something new.
Every student has the ability to achieve their learning. I believe that with the right support and learning style we can achieve that target grade. I find your strengths and areas to develop. Focusing on the skills that need developing we create a unique personalised learning plan to help you succeed I have taught in many schools and different abilities of students.
I’m really enthusiastic about technology and have decided to pursue a degree and a career within Computer Science for that reason. This also makes me enthusiastic about the flexibility and teaching possibilities within online education. As such, I would like to tutor others online, using online tools and webcam to provide an immersive experience without physical presence.
I find the best way to structure my lessons is always student dependent. I put a lot on emphasis on you understanding the concepts you need to use and always want to make sure you are comfortable asking as many questions as you want.
I believe in learning by practice. After explaining any part I would solve with my students plenty of examples and practice on past papers. Also, I would like always to link the maths with what my students are planing to do in future to prove that we use maths in our daily life.
I teach Mathematics by first introducing the basic aspects of the subject and then jump into more advanced lessons. I will give my own prepared notes to the students so they can look at the content in their own time and do the exercises on their own.
The main teaching method is to break down into steps by steps and explain how to solve the equations. I can be drawing a grid to separate each step. I can be drawing a diagram to show how I can solve the question.
If you have not started to learn this subject, I will teach you patiently with each chapter, make sure you understand all of it. And we will do some exam papers to check. If you just want to learn certain chapter, we can just focus on it and tackle some difficult questions. I also have some Chinese way to do the questions, which may be easier to understand.
My teaching methods depend on my students as I provide methods that are easy to use and understandable. My lesson structure is based on the school criteria with relevant techniques to improve their mathematical skills. I can provide maths lessons from a primary to secondary level with basic AS and A2 maths.
I hold a master of science degree in IT and a software and academic professional with excellent computing and programming skills. I teach computing for students of any age and levels. Conversant with modern technologies, curriculum and techniques. My method of teaching students being, prepare, teach, test and support.
How a lesson is structured really depends on the age range of the person I'm teaching, for younger children I would have a more relaxed lesson structure and for older people, I might be able to move faster with a starter, which would relate to the previous lesson and then I would get into the main topic carefully explaining each point and then we would finish off with a pleanary.
My teaching method is practising questions, especially in maths the more you do, the better you'll get.
My teaching method is to customise lessons to the particular student. I base my classes on what will help the student achieve their goals. I approach each topic by attaching a real life situation to it, aiding the students understanding.
My approach in term of teaching is to make it as practical and enjoyable as possible, not only very formal sessions.I use a combination of teaching methods and tools including one to one discussion (explaining/ question and answer), visual reinforcement (animation/ video images), example questions.
My teaching method is structured, and when it comes to Math it's all about practice! I strongly believe for a mathematics student to do well all he/she must do is plenty of practice questions in order to boost confidence, so with any new concept taught, I always prepare a number of questions in order for students to reinforce what they have learned.
I will skills developed during my graduate, postgraduate and research career to present lessons. I am an experienced electrochemist, I offer math, numerical methods including finite difference, boundary element and Monte Carlo method, and chemistry lessons to A-level, undergraduate and postgraduate.
I approach topics by first showing why the concept is important and then proceeding to related abstract concepts to specific real world applications. I aim to make learning fun as I believe learning can indeed be fun. I like working with enthusiastic students who are willing to gain knowledge and to learn.
Both traditional and modern style methods used depending on what you prefer. A combination of both is preferred to maximise learning and enhancement of subject field. So traditional style consists of: Rigorous notes/calculations on pen and paper. Board Application of books.
I'm looking to give Math lessons to students who are keen to improve on their existing knowledge. My teaching methods are unique and will focus on exam techniques and solving problems. I can give lessons to students of all levels from GCSE to A Levels. I am patient, friendly and invested in helping you achieve your goals.
My methodology in teaching is bease on main structure for learing in the simplest way which is very in teresting to learn because I believed that maths would be very interesting such a playing game and puzzels. Then I'm looking to creat some sample question wich is very close to the exams.
I teach only up to GCSE Level to account for the change in specification recently - My method of teaching is to assess the level of the student in each topic to be taught, and to focus first on their weaknesses and then to fortify their strengths once their weak points are brought up to a sufficiently high level.
I think everyone should be able to enjoy Maths, whatever their ability and to do so it is important to understand background concepts. I would like my lessons to be fun and engaging and focused on the key areas the student is struggling with.
I have achieved an A* in A-level Maths. My teaching method is helping one develop the technique to derive the answer and understanding the basic principles. This often makes it easier to apply various different principles to a complex problem.
I tend to adapt my teaching methods to the student, since I am well aware that we all learn differently. I will usually assess what level the student is at first, with some general problem solving tasks, and then begin my teachings from there, homing in on any misunderstandings until we can confidently answer similar questions independently.
I tailor myself to the school book that is being used at the pupil's school and focus on their individual problem areas. It's important to informally test the pupils understanding of mathematical section they're currently learning in class.
I am a recent Theoretical Physics Master Graduate from Imperial College London (First Class Honours). I usually begin the lesson by teaching my student a topic, follow by guiding the student through some exercises.
I have tutored a range of students from all backgrounds and can offer students methods of teaching that suits them! I have a lot of experience with students on the Autistic spectrum and am willing to try different ways in which to enrich your knowledge of mathematics. We will assess your strengths and weaknesses and work from there.
A 3rd year Maths student currently on track to achieve a 1st class and to become a maths teacher in secondary school. Student can tell me what they struggle with in maths, and I can help them break that difficulty down. I'm very patient and understand how hard maths can be, and all I want to do is to help people try their best and to achieve what you want.
I am 16 year old Thao. Nice to meet you:) I may be young but I can teach math don't worry. I have been recognised as an over-achiever in math throughout my life in high school and got an A* in Math for my GCSE. I am currently studying Math and Further Math A-Level. I'm pretty much a math nerd. If you want me for GCSE help, I will gladly help you.

Perfect! Emma has been great for my son and he's really enjoyed being tutored by her.
Perfect! So pleased to have found Jeremy . He has helped my son regain his confidence in a subject (maths) he was comfortable in at GCSE level but was struggling to maintain the momentum at A level. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jeremy .
Perfect! She was very well prepared, she used my notes within her tutoring so the lesson is tailored for me personally. She has great time management skills, lessons are not extended for her benifit. Lastly she was very well informed within my subject;...
