About Hussein
I have had a very successful career teaching in Scarborough, then in one of the world's top International IB schools (Cairo American College). As might be expected, I of course know all my Sciences very extensively. I am also highly knowledgeable in all Secondary School Maths. I totally understand when a student is having difficulty mastering any concept and never ever talk down to any student! I have been very highly regarded by all my students, my colleagues, and my administrators, establishing close frictionless rapports with all. Because I am rather easygoing, have a (substantial?) sense of humour, and an unending love of Science and learning, my students have always looked forward to my classes, and I keep in touch with so many of them it's a marvellous testimonial.

I have decades of successful experience - for all levels of High School - in classroom teaching, as well as tutoring and on-line learning. I also have a huge collection of useful resources (handouts, worksheets, assessments, videos, etc...). Depending on the needs and abilities of the student, my preferred teaching technique involves firstly assigning a reading, then going through the details together with a fine tooth comb, answering questions and shedding light on what seems unresolved. This is (optionally) followed by some worksheet (given with answers) to ensure full understanding, as well as (optionally) some form of assessment.
