About Yajur
I have always been passionate about maths and physics, driven by a curiosity to explore beyond the standard curriculum. I enjoy tackling challenging problems and have actively participated in maths competitions and Olympiads, where I’ve earned gold certificates for my performance. These experiences have deepened my understanding and enthusiasm for the subject, and I love sharing that excitement with my students. My goal is not just to help you pass exams but to inspire a genuine appreciation for maths and physics, showing you how rewarding and fun they can be when approached with the right mindset. I believe that understanding the fundamentals is core to mastering any topic, and I focus on building a strong foundation before tackling more complex problems.

I aim to make maths understandable, engaging, and less intimidating for every student. My approach is based on building strong foundations, breaking down complex topics into simple steps, and encouraging active problem-solving rather than rote learning. I tailor each session to the individual’s pace and learning style—whether they need help grasping core concepts, improving exam technique, or tackling higher-level problem-solving. I also incorporate past paper questions regularly to build exam confidence. Lesson Structure & Length Each session typically lasts 60 minutes, though I can offer shorter or longer sessions based on the student's needs and attention span. Lessons usually include a mix of explanation, guided practice, and independent questions with feedback. Qualifications & Experience I’m currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester. I achieved: Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and all Sciences A* in A-Level Maths I’ve informally tutored peers and younger students, helping them grow in confidence and improve their results, and I now offer structured private tutoring. Who I Teach I tutor GCSE and A-Level students, typically aged 14–18, of all ability levels—whether you're aiming for a pass or pushing for a top grade.
