UAL MA Postgraduate available with 10 years teaching experience both in the UK and internationally

Methodology

The key to effective learning is unlocking each child's potential. Every student is an individual with unique skills and abilities, and by unlocking their interests and encouraging their development, they can become independent learners with the skills that will last over their future educational career.

I base my teaching methodology and class preparation on the needs of each individual student. As well as the core content of each class, there is the space for discussion and exploration built into each session. In this way, the student can develop their own interest in the subject and build a sustainable way of learning that is both fit for passing exams and also a broader educational development.

I am happy to work with parents to perfect a better approach to each child's learning.

Experience

I am an MA postgraduate from the University of the Arts, London. I have been a teacher for over ten years both in the UK and internationally. In that time I have built up a wide range of experience, and know that every child is an individual with their own unique gifts and challenges.

My experience includes teaching students of all ages, from very young learners through to adults. I have internationally, in the UK, to Japan, Korea, Kenya and Indonesia, working in a diverse range of settings from classroom to tutoring to community development projects. as well as my specialism in art, for which I have an MA from University of the Arts, London, I also have a background in languages (Korean and Chinese). I also have extensive experience with SEN/EBD.
