My teaching method is very experiential. I leave space for your own intuitions and support them by teaching you techniques. I let you play first because by playing first your inner artist is not inhibited by the rules... Rules come later to support your inner artist and make you more objective in judging by yourself what you have created.
I base my classes on what the student wants to learn and what level they are currently on. I believe in using art as an outlet and a way to express yourself so my classes are very open minded and free, but if the student wants to learn specific techniques we can also cover those.
I can provide a teenager and adults with basic sketching skills. My teaching methods are using various artist’s work as inspiration to find their favourite way to draw their own style. Give them more practice and let them try to use different materials.
i try to allow the student to learn by mistakes, distant but very aware, ensuring time and considerations are met building up the person rather than taunting them down ensuring they remember what they dont like to repeat through trial and errors ensuring they find a style
I am a professional artist (MA) with more than 15 years of international career and training experience for beginners, degree students, and other artists in different techniques (oil, acrylic, watercolour, egg tempera, drawing techniques and mixed media).

My approach is open, polite, clear, fun, attentive and assertive. The levels of teaching have varied from one on one tuition for GCSE portfolios to big time 'creative' corporations in Hollywood. I encourage all students to use the side of the brain that is less used. I include philosophical approaches to my teaching.
My teaching methodology is based on two important factors. First, the fundamental knowledge, techniques and practices that are necessary for all visual artists and second ability and interests of person who wants to learn and enjoy this incredible field.
My method is confidence boosting whilst creating as it can be quite a scary thing to make art with the pressure of 'making something good.' One of my main philosophies is that you have to make a plethora of bad art works and general tests to create something you will be pleased with.
Hello! I am currently studying for my masters in Mixed Media textiles at the Royal College of Art and last year I graduated from Edinburgh University, where I graduated with a first class Hons.
I am able to teach any level of painting from beginner through to advanced. We will start by learning basic draftsmanship and drawing and gradually develop your skills to learn how to paint. Though I will tailor my tutoring specifically to each student's desires and goals.
I'm an Italian artist with more then 20 years of international experience I had the opportunity to instruct a diverse kind of people and as result I have developed a good teaching techniques and instructional methods that allowed me to educate all style and age of learners and promoted art appreciation and developed creativity.
My teaching method is flexible as every students needs and interests will vary. Nevertheless, I aim to further a students technical skill and lateral thinking in their particular field of investigation. I am confident in offering sessions on painting, drawing, colour theory, portfolio preparation/ preparation for art school and multi-medium work.
My approach to art teaching is linked to my academic training, consisting in a combination between mastering the use of Fine Art materials and the study of old masters and contemporary artists.
I like to let my students explore their broad creative horizon. I can not teach how to be creative, but I can guide you to emerge beyond any creative barriers, and when you do I will help you express and create. I believe starting out in graphite and drawing realistic drawings (I do a lot of faces and bodies and clothes etc...
I have taught graduate students Anatomical drawing and how to paint flesh I think knowing the basics of the human body and some understanding of the muscles and bones helps with painting and painting models. I will teach you how to paint flesh, exploring the variations of skin ranging from humans and other animals to fruits and vegetables.
My approach is based on the understanding of the space within painting - or drawing - take place and stimulating the creativity in order to fill it. Depending on the tastes of the customer, the style may be more traditional or more abstract. Some key elements are: life drawing, learning to think visually (and not rationally) and finding your own personal expression technique.
I teach Primary School, High School and College Mathematics and Physical Sciences. The provide lessons in the following Mathematics topics on frequent basis: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus and Statistics.
My teaching method will be different for online and face to face teaching, if you are live in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia i can teach you face to face and if you are outside Addis Ababa i will teach you online in my Facebook page called "habesha pencil drawing room" and i will also Email you some material on your email address
I teach basic, intermediate and advanced courses in Drawing, Painting, and the creative process.
I believe everyone can draw if they are only being explained the necessary basics. Drawing and painting is suppose to be relaxing and enjoyable so I think the most efficient way to learn how to do it is by practical learning with the theory in the background to show the right direction. I will teach you the mathematical basics, perspective, shadowing etc.
I believe in keeping the tutee's style untouched since I have experienced the influence of teachers tending to morph their student's art into what they desire. I aim to help my tutee prosper in their style of art that they are passionate in and start to apply it to the exam board's standard from there.
I am a firm believer that learning should be fun as this is how one is most able to retain information. I like to use a very hands-on approach allowing the student to work things out on their own first and talk about any issues or misunderstandings once they have tried. Discussion is key! I believe this is the best way to create a sense of initiative and pro-activity.
I think anyone who wants to learn how to learn how to sketch and create their own work should do it in his own style.
My classes are tailor made to the individual/s that I am teaching. I have an ability to enrich and see skills that are already present in the student and attentively teach new skills. I have the ability to teach any age group.
My teaching methods are based on identifying the stages of my prospective clients and implementing appropriate methods for their improvement. I was trained overseas at Mico University Teachers College and UCE, I've taught art and design at home and abroad.
I would love to teach in a friendly, yet professional manner, similar to the education style I was exposed to in university. I would like to give as much freedom in making art, hence will mainly focus on giving criticism in order to inspire students. I believe that there is no such thing as bad art, and every child who is interested in making art will have the potential of being an artist.
My teaching method is based on emphasis, through an understanding of the individual I am then able to approach in a really comfortable way. I tipically always start from a brief of the topic, following by examples or demonstrations to finally reach a experimentation of it.
I wish to teach you based on your own interest as a student can only learn by him/herself if he/she wish to. I learned this in a hard way from the Chinese educational system I grew up from. Depending on the age and the student's progress with work, I will add a different degree of interactive ways of study.
My teaching method is very versatile and would structure my time around the students criteria. Providing lessons specific to artistic technique's such as painting or drawing. To developing ones thought process in visualisation and experimentation. I can also provide invaluable expertise on gcse and A level bookwork and other possible needs and wants a student may have.
