About Ebonie
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Oxford, with 6 years of experience working in education and literacy. I am also an experienced Student Ambassador and have spoken on panels nationwide, representing the University of Oxford's Access and Outreach department.
As you can see, I am passionate about teaching and access to higher education, and I show this through my hard work as a dedicated tutor with a friendly approach.

I prioritise flexibility when tutoring, as I understand that education can be a source of stress for many students. My aim is to help students develop confidence in their written abilities through regular support, and to supplement work completed within the classroom.
I also offer support throughout the university application process- having scored 57/60 on the Oxford's English Literature Admissions Test, I use my personal experience to provide insight into what can seem like a mystifying process. This includes test preparation, writing personal statements, and interview practice.
Standard lesson times are 30 minutes to an hour, but I am happy to be flexible if a slightly longer session is needed. I also offer a free video consultation before our first class so that we are on the same page about individual needs, goals and objectives.
