About Chayla
Are you (or someone you know) looking for music lessons? Look no further! I'm an MTSU Student about to graduate with a 3.9 GPA in Audio Production. I've been playing guitar and bass for almost 7 years now and singing for 6; I'm also fully proficient in both Ableton and Pro Tools. I love teaching people new things, so feel free to reach out! I love music and began teaching myself guitar and bass when I was 13. Singing has always been my biggest passion, and I've won awards and been selected for the Executive Producer round in American Idol due to my hard work. Along with these, I'm also fully proficient in Pro Tools and Ableton. I've been writing and recording my music for 4 years now.

Whether it's increasing confidence in your voice, smoothing out any cracks, or learning how to hold that belt longer, I adapt my lessons and exercises to fit each student and their goals. Typically, your first session or two will be foundational and mainly consist of beginning warmups, education, and exercises; after that, we'll dive a little deeper into how to improve your technique. It's essential to start with a good idea of what you're looking for so I can help you best! I'm especially skilled at assisting beginner and intermediate vocal students who are trying to find and (mentally and physically) strengthen their voice.
