About Kendall
A high school honors student and summa cum laude college graduate, I am passionate about helping other students achieve their highest level of excellence. Essay writing is where I thrive, and I teach students how to write authentically and powerfully. I will help develop, edit, and revise students' papers and essays. My goal is for the student to be confident in every word that they write, and not only to have them sound like they know what they are talking about, but to sound genuinely passionate about the topic, which is what I feel truly sets a writer apart.

I always begin my own writing with a stream-of-consciousness free write, in which the student writes continuously for a period of time. The point is not to write perfectly, or even to write well! This method simply helps to get on paper whatever is in the mind, and is very effective when it comes to overcoming a writers block. Of course, I also will assist with grammar and spelling -- but this will come in the editing and revising stages. I think that style and voice are the most important elements of writing -- to write in a way that feels authentic to YOU. Spelling, grammar, etc... they can always be learned and fixed, but to have a developed and unique voice when writing is powerful, because it is yours. Over time, I will help the student discover their voice and develop their style in a way that is certain to stand out.

Kendall has been a well respected dancer since middle school and high school. She was a dancer with an award winning dance company, D’Valda and Sirico. She went on to get a college degree at the Joffrey ballet and Dance school. She has developed choreography for students and studios. She loves to teach and share her passion for dance.
