  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

My first encounter with a computer was both fascinating and intimidating. As a child, I remember being in awe of its capabilities, yet overwhelmed by its complexity. It was a basic Windows 95 machine, and I spent hours exploring its features, playing simple games, and gradually learning to navigate its interface. This initial experience sparked my curiosity and laid the foundation for my lifelong passion for technology.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

    Most Impactful Technological Evolution:
The advent of the internet has been the most significant technological evolution for me. It transformed the computer from a solitary tool into a gateway to a vast, interconnected world. Looking ahead, I believe the integration of artificial intelligence in everyday life will be a pivotal turning point, profoundly changing how we interact with technology and each other.
  • Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

    Expertise and Its Importance:
My expertise lies in software development, with a focus on creating efficient, user-friendly applications. I am particularly interested in algorithm optimization and user interface design. In the broader computer world, software development plays a critical role, as it is the backbone of the digital solutions and innovations that drive our modern life.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

    Inspirational Figures:
While visionaries like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are certainly inspiring, I find myself more influenced by less-known figures in the programming community. Developers who contribute to open-source projects, for example, embody a spirit of collaboration and knowledge sharing that resonates deeply with me.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

    Anecdote from School Days:
One memorable moment from my school days was during a programming contest. Our team was stuck on a problem, and with time running out, I had a sudden insight that led to a simple yet effective solution. This experience taught me the value of thinking outside the box and that sometimes the simplest approach can be the most effective.
  • What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

Advice for Those Intimidated by IT:
To someone who finds IT daunting, I'd say, "Start small and be patient." The world of IT may seem overwhelming, but it's like learning a new language. Begin with the basics, practice consistently, and don't hesitate to ask for help. Remember, every expert was once a beginner.
  • What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

Beyond computers, I'm passionate about music and hiking. Music, like coding, is a language of its own, offering a creative outlet and a different kind of problem-solving. Hiking allows me to disconnect, reflect, and gain a fresh perspective, which is often when I find solutions to challenging coding problems.
  • What makes you a Superprof in IT?

My combination of technical expertise, real-world experience, and a genuine passion for teaching makes me a Superprof in IT. I strive to make complex concepts accessible and engaging, adapting my teaching style to each student's needs. My goal is to not only impart knowledge but to inspire curiosity and confidence in my students.
