Make justified recommendations for improving the validity of the marketing research used to contribute to the development of a selected organisations marketing plans.

My selected organization is Marks and Spencers

Look at the demographic of M&S customers... are they currently servicing their needs, are there areas of the business that are under performing? Why? E.g Mature womens clothing ranges for over 60's... are they currently reflecting the tastes of 60 + ladies today? My advise would be to analyse their performance figures.. have a look yourself.. maybe even talk to some of their target customers and get their views... Armed with this information, build a critique of current performance and evaluate how YOU believe this performance can be improved, suggesting MR methods... some comparisons would be good also... look at equivalent stores, their performance and how they approach the same customer category...Good luck!
