About Ethan
My name is Ethan and I am a 23 year old third-year university student currently studying English and Sociology.
I am a personable individual with experience teaching English as a second language to youth (grade 5) as well as experience in teaching Sociology to high school students.
The tutoring I offer is catered to the individual needs of each of my students. While doing so, I place emphasis on developing problem solving skills by building off the knowledge of the student to guide them to the answers they're seeking.

- Begins by evaluating students learning type, reading and writing comprehension, as well as academic strengths and areas to improve.
- Lesson plan is created based off of the students individual needs and current courseworks of said student. Techniques within the lesson plan vary depending on students learning type. A lesson plan for an auditory learner will include socratic dialogues/discussions, whereas a lesson plan for a visual learner will include more visual aides such as flow charts and the like.
-I believe that my personalized approach to each students education, and meeting them where they are academically, is what sets me apart from other tutors.
-The lessons I offer are targeted towards secondary school students, but I am capable and willing to educate students within lower or higher levels of education.
