As a passionate and approachable tutor, my goal is to make English less intimidating and way more engaging. I tailor each lesson to fit your unique learning style whether you’re getting ready for your GCSEs, A-Levels, or just want to boost your confidence and writing skills. My teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and interactive. I break down tricky concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, and exam technique. We’ll work through past papers, plan essays, try some creative writing, and explore how to write clearly and confidently. Lessons usually last about an hour, but I’m happy to extend that depending on what you need. I’m a university student who got top grades in both English Language and Literature, and I have a solid background in essay-based subjects like Sociology and Criminology too. My lessons are perfect for students aged 13-18, especially if you’re sitting GCSE or A-Level English exams, but I’m happy to help anyone motivated to improve. Let’s work together to build your confidence and help you smash your academic goals!
