About James
I am a third-year Biomedical and Mechanical Double Major Honors Student at Rochester Institute of Technology with a 4.00 GPA who has a large amount of exposure to most types of math, including several advanced math classes. Some of these classes involve, but are not limited to any level of high school math, Multivariable and Vector Calculus, Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems. I have experience tutoring in both math and chemistry, and am open to both, and will continue to further my education in mathematics to have an even broader spectrum of topics to cover.

My teaching method very closely associates with a music teacher I've come to really trust in life. Their mentality is that every student has a very unique way of learning, and that the more the student and teacher can work together to achieve and strengthen that ability, the better they can become at learning. I like to learn how a student learns most efficiently, and then teach them up using that technique that fits them best. In addition to a very specific approach to each individual, I like to take time where it is needed with different topics, I will never just throw one example at a student and hope they grasp it before moving on, because learning is very different from just doing a practice problem.
