About Layla
I'm Layla and I want to help improve the lives of future students. When I was younger I always felt alone when studying but craved academic validation. I want to create a space where studying isn't a toxic competition but instead a safe space to learn and grow.

While studying at high school, I taught two younger students who both improved drastically within a month. During the GCSE period I also tutored my friends. I used games and quizzes for active recall then made practice papers to gain confidence with exams. I can meet up at Denton Community Library or Manchester Library. Online lessons are also available but meeting in person is best for the game part of lessons. I can meet up at weekends at whatever times best suit the student. Lessons would typically be 1-2 hours long but can vary based on the child's needs. I'm currently studying at Xaverian. I can tutor students at primary school level or GCSE level (ages 10 - 16).
