About Liora
I hold a master’s in Chemistry and have spent over seven years nurturing curiosity in young scientists. My teaching stems from a deep appreciation of how chemistry connects with everything — from the air we breathe to the technology we use daily. My classes emphasize visualization and reasoning. I use diagrams, digital simulations, and storytelling to simplify reactions and molecular behavior. Whether explaining thermodynamics or organic mechanisms, I focus on logical flow so students understand “why,” not just “how.” I’ve worked with students from high school to university, tailoring my methods to individual learning styles. I take pride in being approachable and patient, turning confusion into clarity through guided exploration. My lessons combine structure with flexibility, allowing curiosity to drive learning. Above all, I see chemistry as a lens to understand life itself. My goal is to inspire learners to see beauty in the science — to view molecules as stories of interaction, transformation, and balance. In my classroom, every question is welcome, every curiosity encouraged, and every discovery celebrated.

Chemistry lessons with me are designed to transform abstract reactions into vivid, memorable experiences. We begin by exploring the foundations — atoms, bonding, and periodic trends — through visuals, experiments, and analogies that make even complex theories accessible. I ensure students truly understand how microscopic interactions govern macroscopic changes.
I encourage students to think chemically, not just memorize reactions. We break down equations into logical patterns, using visualization tools and real-life examples — like how cooking or rusting represents redox reactions. These associations help students connect chemistry to the world around them.
For advanced learners, I integrate organic mechanisms, spectroscopy, and kinetics through a problem-based learning approach. Students learn to predict outcomes, analyze structures, and reason like chemists in research or industry. Every lesson focuses on clarity, connection, and application.
By the end, students build a solid conceptual map of chemistry, equipped to apply it confidently in academics, laboratories, and interdisciplinary fields such as biology or environmental science.
