Start each lesson with an introduction of myself and ask the student to introduce themselves, their struggles and what they want to achieve from the tutoring sessions. I would com prepared with exercises and material I believe would help as well as compile some online youtube videos or other instruction that they could watch and look at if they are still struggling. The actual lesson would start with an overview of the topic, making sure the student understands throughout and then proceed with some examples and work on the specific work or problem questions they may be facing.
