I focus on helping students build both their procedural and conceptual understanding of math concepts that will help them increase their over all mathematical literacy. I focus on modeling and using manipulatives to help visual/tactile learners. I have received academic excellence awards for my lesson plans including lesson plans for elementary mathematics.
