Hi my name is Sophie and I am studying medicine in Galway. I studied Biology and chemistry in the leaving cert at achieved 100% in both. I am currently offering online grinds for students who are wishing to achieve high grades and are capable enough of studying these subjects but may just find it difficult to study certain topics within them. I know the leaving cert is very much based on learning off information which can be very hard to do when there is so much to learn, so I have found that taking an understanding approach to these subjects is far more beneficial as it allows you to apply knowledge you have learnt through understanding rather than constantly forgetting specific details you have forgotten.
At the moment i do have a free time to do hour grinds here and there when the student needs. They can simply just text me a couple of days in advance about the topic they are finding difficult and a time that suits them to go over it. I know that majority of grinds these days whether that be independent or from institutions such as the institute of education or DSOG, are very expensive, so therefore I would only be charging half the price of these and would be available when the student needs me whether that be weekly, or just coming up to exams. I also have plenty of resources, study notes and online flashcards I can share with them on an array of subjects.
