MSc in Biology (Integrative-Biosciences) from University of Oxford with more than 7 years of tutoring experience offering my first lesson absolutely free. I give the tutoring according to student needs and capabilities. I give students the work plan to reach A grades. I tutor Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths from KS2 upto A-levels.
I am not another teacher, I have had recent and more importantly personal experience with GCSE's and so have mastered ways of understanding, explaining and revising the syllabus. I will work together with you, and the exam specification to go through exam questions and techniques for high grades. I'll also teach tricks that i used during my own exam.
Identifying strengths and weaknesses of the student.Support and detailed help. Teaching to the test. Pursuing excellence in essays. • Over 14 years of experience in helping students make the most of their abilities, even thrive in their classroom.
Work the logic to improve the understanding via schemes and graphs. Simplify arguments and processes. Visual aids and tricks for memorising content. Review over and over again. Firm but friendly approach. Honesty and support of the student. Building confidence is the most important for long-term achievements.
My teaching methodology is to make it simple and fun, as microbiology is a vast subject. As an example for younger students I usually have stuffed microorganisms to teach about shape, and have a visual support this is something that I like to use for all my students either with videos schemes and animations. I'm a very friendly and patient tutor as well as very organized.
I'm a Second-Year Vet student at the University of Surrey. The level of biology I'm learning at the moment means that I'm more than equipped to help GCSE and A-level students pass their exams. Having done my GCSEs and A-levels, I feel like I am able to provide a students perspective to the curriculum in order to help current students understand tricky concepts.
I would like to give lessons to biology students from GCSE to Bachelor's degree level. I studied Pharmacology, which means I am extensively trained in a range of subjects including biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology and immunology, neurophysiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology.
I love teaching and especially making a difference which I have done numerous times. I care about how people learn and have a particular focus on teaching in a way that is best for each individual. As we all learn differently and so I have a specific focus on making the learning relevant to each student.
I work hard, and see student to completion. I take my time. I allow the tutee to ask questions. I ensure the student covers the topic content from a-z. I tutor to primary, secondary and degree levels. I can tutor individuals or to groups. Thank you.
If individual my classes will be focused on the learning style of each student. If in a group setting, I make sure to diversify the methods in which information is presented. There is a strong focus on metacognition and learning how to approach information in the best way for you.
Hello! I am a 6th year medical student from the first faculty of medicine, in Prague and I have completed an BSc in biomedical sciences and an MSc in Pharmacology at Queen Mary and King's College of London, respectively. I have many core skills including excellent communication and listening skills attained from various experiences including differing roles in the NHS while studying.
I believe in customizing the lesson and a lot of out of the box tricks to make it both fun and effective for students to learn Arabic/Hebrew. Passionate about International Relations and Global Affairs that no mat-ter how hard the subject may seem for you I'll infect you with my pas-sion and you would enjoy the lesson.
My teaching method is flexible and dependent on the needs of the student. If the student is preparing for an exam the approach will be more general to try and cover all topics needed. Instead if a student needs explanations to further understanding on a specific topic then the class will have a more focused and narrow approach.
I teach according to the student's weak points and teach the more difficult topics that they need help in! I like to help explain topics and concepts in a clear manner and break into manageable parts! I give lessons to GCSE and KS4 students primarily but am willing to teach A Level students also in areas of Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
I work by giving handouts and going through them thoroughly with the student to ensure they understand what is being taught. I then give "homework" based on the lesson and will mark it according to your exam-boards criteria. I can also adjust my teaching methodology to best suit the student based on their learning preferences.
Hi! I have a PhD in vaccine development from Imperial College London and have also completed an MSc in Immunology and a BSc (Hons) in Infectious Diseases. I am due to start the graduate entry medicine course at Imperial this Autumn after also working there as a post-doctoral scientist.
I have an easy going and patient manner and am happy to take lessons at whatever pace is required. I aim to shape each session around the individual requirements of each student to ensure they get the most out of it.
I am very structured when it comes to learning. I will first make sure we have a learning structure in place to cover all topics in a sensible and memorable order. I will tailor lessons to your learning style, but I find that drawings, diagrams, mind maps, acronyms and making associations between content and real-life make things easier to remember.
My teaching methods depend on the student. Everyone learns in different ways and it's best to see which method suits each individual. I am very enthusiastic about my subject and feel I can explain quite complicated topics in an interesting and easy to understand way.
I am looking to tutor students from grade 8 up to the first year of university who loves science. I acknowledge that every individual has a different approach to studying therefore I am open to different methods of studying. The primary studying structure I follow consists of grouping and mapping topics so that they are easy to understand and remember.
I emphasise the understanding of the concepts rather than memorisation. I like to have the students draw flowcharts and tables when possible to pare down information into the vital sentences for easy recollection.
I love biology and will like to make it fun for my students so they could also develop a passion for it. I like to teach topics and relate them back to real-life examples so to make it more interesting and relevant. I believe that practice makes permanent so going through questions together will definitely help in understanding.
My name is Melissa Hale and I am an active post-graduate student working towards a Ph.D in Parasitology and Vector-Borne Disease. I have a background in Zoology and Molecular Biology. I am comfortable teaching GCSE science Bio, Chem or Phys (up to triple award) and specifically A-level Biology.
Hello! I am happy to tutor students in scientific areas and concepts of any size or level at A-level and below - please don't be shy! Each session will start with a discussion of what the tutee want to achieve, before working from there.
I am a patient and accomodating University of Portsmouth graduate in BSc (Hons) Biology, and I believe in working at the pace of the student.
I am a Master's student in Imperial College London and I have just graduated from UCL with BSc Bioprocessing of New Medicine (Science and Engineering) in 2017 summer. I have tutored young adult aged 16-18 during my undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology before so I am very aware of the programme.
I'm a recent university graduate (Zoology BSc from UCL), and a big believer that anyone can understand any concept, given enough time and a teacher that understands a 'one lesson plan suits all' approach is not the best way. I am very familiar with the subject matter and examination techniques of GCSE and A-level biology, having recently made my way through the education system.
I approach each student differently depending on their style of learning; I plan lessons adapted around my student to best fit them. In large groups, I do my absolute best to help each student to reach their maximum effort and potential in order for them to obtain the best result they can. I do this by motivating them.
I like to teach with having an interactive session, I like to be well prepared for the topics you want to learn, hence I usually ask my students regarding the topics they want to understand beforehand so that I can provide best service and information to them.
My methodology involves studying the weak areas of my student and focusing more on those issues.I will analyzing my student's strengths and would will adopt strategies that would help her overcome her weaknesses .The methods of teaching include 1.Power point presentations 2.Text book references 3.Oral explanation 4.Conducting preparatory exams 5.
