From having never cooked before, I was able to produce restaurant quality food (in my opinion ) in my first online lesson. And the lesson was enjoyable. What more could I want .

Gráinne was excellent throughout. This included:
- Being responsive to messages in our initial communications.
- Being accommodating with time-slots at short notice.
- Sending a clear personalised instruction sheet (e.g. ingredients, videos showing cutting techniques) before the lesson.
- Talking me through everything and answering my many questions during the lesson. For me, Gráinne's communication skills (coupled with her experience & knowledge) are probably her biggest strength - or at least were the part of the lesson that most exceeded my expectations.

On a related note, I also highly recommend online lessons (if the person giving the lesson is as good at communicating as Gráinne). I was initially hesitant about the idea of an online lesson, given that I'd never even turned on an oven before, but it couldn't have gone any better. I now have a preference for online lessons, as opposed to in person lessons, as I feel more like the chef now - being the only person in the kitchen .
