homework: F1 measuring length

PORis isosceles. its base PR=12cm. its altitude is 14cm. calculate the length of the equal sides.

This is a simple application of Pythagarus Theorem, a^2 +b^2=c^2 where a and b are two sides of a right angle triangle triangle and c the hypotenuse. You should be able to turn your isosceles triangle into two right angle triangles.
