i need help on my help on my homework.
the question is... Consider the straight line 2x+3y-12=0 what is the gradient of this line?
i would be grateful if someone would help me please!

well we know that when in the form y = mx + c the gradient is m and the y intercept is c
So the first thing you need to do is rearrange the equation to get y by itself on the left hand side. If you do that then
3y = -2x + 12
now divide everything by 3 to get
y = -2/3 x + 4
so the gradient of the line is -2/3 and the y intercept will be + 4
Hope that helps
