well percentages means out of a hundred, for example find 20% of £60, you do 20 divided by 100 times(*) 60 = £12, so 20% of £60= £12. hope it helps!! :D

I’m yearning $600 on a 10,000 investment in 4 months. What percentage of interest is that?

To work out the interest rate, divide the interest earned by the original investment, then multiply by 100:
10,000
600
×100=6%
So you earned 6% interest over 4 months.
If you want to know the equivalent annual interest rate (APR), assuming the same rate continues throughout the year and you're using simple interest, it would be approximately 18% per year.
