About Frida
I bring over five years of tutoring experience and a BSc in Space and Planetary Science to my work as a Physics tutor. My main goal is to help high school students succeed in IGCSE and A-Level exams. Mechanics, electricity, and waves are my areas of expertise, and I teach them using a blend of theory and application. Practical experiments make my lessons engaging, while derivations help students see the reasoning behind formulas. I dedicate a lot of time to past paper analysis, as it is one of the most effective tools for exam success. Every student has unique strengths and weaknesses, so I adjust lessons to suit individual needs. I believe that confidence comes from clarity, and clarity comes from breaking concepts down into simple steps. My teaching style is supportive and approachable. I encourage curiosity and reward persistence. Physics doesn’t have to be overwhelming when explained the right way. Let’s turn your challenges into opportunities and your goals into achievements.

My approach to teaching Physics is structured, practical, and engaging. I focus on mechanics, electricity, thermodynamics, and gas laws, explaining them step by step. I like to use experiments and simple gadgets to show how Physics applies in everyday life. This hands-on style makes abstract concepts like heat transfer and states of matter much easier to understand. I also emphasize detailed derivations, because they help students see the logical flow of the subject. Past exam papers are used regularly to sharpen skills and improve exam performance. Feedback is a central part of my lessons, helping learners see progress and target weak areas. I aim to build a strong foundation in energy, as it ties together many different Physics topics. Students often find that once the basics are clear, advanced problems become less intimidating. My teaching is adaptable, encouraging curiosity and active learning. Together, we will build confidence, skill, and a solid understanding of Physics.
