When facing a problem, I ask the students questions so that they can gradually reach the solution on their own. I help the students understand everything they learn, so that they will find the next topic easier to study on their own. I encourage the students to go throughout the textbooks and discuss what they don't understand with me. My aim is to make the people I tutor independent learners.
Having taught some of the keenest minds in the world at the Universities of Oxford and London and also struggling school students, (as well as struggling University students and bright-as-buttons schoolchildren!), I believe it is absolutely essential to tailor the teaching style to the requirements of the individual. Pupils have hugely varying aptitudes for different parts of a syllabus.
I've made students who were failing their degree studies become university toppers (references provided upon request). Results for 2016/7: 100% A*-B grades achieved. I also offer help with assignments / projects at undergraduate/postgraduate levels. Q.

I believe in tutoring 1 to 1 since it will be easier for the tutee to ask questions and not feel embarassed in front of other people. Also, I like to first explain any doubts or topics needed by the tutee and, more importantly, help them solving and understanding exercises, which will give them a chance to apply what they have learnt.
My teaching style is to build my own papers and questions that are more difficult than standard exam questions, and then work through them with students using rules and methodology which prove the effectiveness of those methods in other less difficult questions.
I encourage and foster independence of my students. My teaching methods are based on what type of learner my tutee is, i.e visual, auditory, reading/writing or kinesthetic.
I am a third year undergraduate student studying Chemistry MSci at King's College London, currently tracking at a 1st. I tutor secondary school, GCSE, BTEC and AS/A2 Level. My lessons would include an in depth explanation in certain areas that the student finds difficult. Followed by questions and working through some harder examples.
My target is to show other students how easy and enjoable studying Chemistry can be, once they know the right methods and useful tricks. I have very good materials which will help all the students to understand some very crucial and basic topics while learning Chemistry. I do know how to explain things in a straightforward, understandable and clear way.
my method of teaching is by attempting. id quickly explain the fundamentals but take time during the actual attempt to solve a problem. breaking the problem down to individual parts so its easier to take in.
First of all I will try to focus on basic level concepts once the basic concepts are clear we can move further,I can provide any data related to Engineering Subjects.
I love teaching by telling examples of real-life applications; which can ease the understanding. Rather than teaching only theories, I want to tell people what they actually mean especially in maths and physics ; not only a bunch of formulas and numbers but what those equations are capable of.
My teaching method is tailored to personal need of student, very flexible and patient and apply an holistic approach
I am a PhD student at the University of Glasgow offering tutoring in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subjects. In addition to previous academic degrees, I also have 6 years of industrial experience as a professional engineer. I use a goal-oriented problem solving approach to solidify subject fundamentals before extending to more complex concepts.
I like to tailor my tuition depending on the student's individual needs as I understand and respect that each student is unique. The first step I take in my approach to tutoring new students is to understand and assess their strengths and weaknesses. I use different styles and methods of teaching depending upon the student's ability and attitude.
I have a very flexible teaching methodology depending on my student's level. In order to do this I use a wide range of techniques including; step by step guides, illustrated explanations and quick tips/hints. I also like to use practice tests to make the student more confident with their exams along with encouraging my students to ask more questions.
I am a Master of Chemistry, and as such would be happy to teach at all levels up to degree level. I am friendly and approachable, and take time to make sure something is understood before moving on to more complicated ideas.
My teaching method is to understand the students requirements and bespoke the lesson around the outcome that they require to make sure that the student gets the best out of the lesson and understands the subject by the time the lessons finishes.
As a undergraduate student, I understand the difficulties of secondary school science. My methods include breaking tricky subjects down into small manageable chunks, using several methods, depending on my students strengths and learning methods.
My teaching methodology is primarily tailored to the student; having said that, more often than not the student may only need their confidence building.
I will skills developed during my graduate, postgraduate and research career to present lessons. I am an experienced electrochemist, I offer math, numerical methods including finite difference, boundary element and Monte Carlo method, and chemistry lessons to A-level, undergraduate and postgraduate.
My teaching method is progressive development of the student. I'm giving highest priority to find the level of understanding of the student in a particular subject, then find the defects in basics, then mentor the correct knowledge about that particular subject.
My teaching method is based on e-learning lessons that are either topic based on the subject or tailored to suit my students individual requirements and progress, using appropriately referenced e-learning material/videos, relevant textbooks and explanations and worked examples to suit.
I am able to teach chemistry from GCSE level up to degree level. No two students are identical, so I place emphasis on a flexible, adaptive teaching style that caters to the demands of the individual student. I like to teach in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. My methodology revolves around developing a strong basic foundation in science and analysis, and developing interest in the field.
I give lessons to primary, high school and university level. I use both Teacher-Centered Approach to Learning and Student-Centered Approach to Learning as effective ways of instruction.
My teaching method is very much based in analogies, and utilisation of the intuition and understanding of the macro world we live in to relate to chemical concepts. This works especially well for explaining the laws of thermodynamics.
I start the first lesson by assessing the level and key areas that the student needs help in and from there draw up a plan going forward to help improve their weak areas. We will the begin looking at the basics of the topics they are struggling in and to then move swiftly into past papers and to understand correct technique when trying to answer them.
My teaching method focuses on explaining to students anything they don't understand through different examples and methods. As someone who has asked help from teachers before I understand how important it is to focus on basic understanding rather then a rote learning method.
I will base my teaching methods on the academic level of the tutee, I am patient, I can be formal or informal depending on how you want to be taught. I can answer any question within the Maths and Physics range.
I start classes by asking what areas the student is struggling with. I explain the basic concepts pertaining to the problem area and then go through questions with them on that subject until they are comfortable enough to approach the problem by themselves, explaining more complicated concepts when crossed upon.
