any help would be greatful

x1/2(3x+x^-2)

Answers
Ok so you have to multiply each term inside the brackets by x^1/2. 3x X x^1/2 = x^3/2 (because you're basically adding the indicies of x^1 and x^1/2) Then x^-2 X x^1/2 = x^-3/2 (because you're adding -2 to 1/2) So you answer is 3x^3/2 + x^-3/2
