If you multiply a number by 10, it's simply a case of moving the decimal point by 1 place. So 10 x 23.76 = 237.6

If you wanted to lay it out as a 'long multiplication' sum, then you could write the 10 under the 23.76, so that the 1 is below the 2, and the 0 is below the 3. After the zero, put a decimal point, and then two zeros, under the 7 and under the 6.
