About David
I am currently doing my Physics undergraduate at UCL (going into second year). I studied both in London (for 13 years) and Cape town (for 3 years) and have given private physics lessons to a student at boarding school. They were in the midst of their gcse's and needed guidance with the maths.

For GCSEs I think it's about getting the grades to give options for the future. Because of this I tend to teach people the same way I revise, by training for the exam. I look through last papers, do many exam questions, and try past papers. If the child I'm teaching is doing well and consistently getting high 'mock' marks then I would start showing them some higher level maths so they can see how what they are learning now applies to the maths they'll learn in a levels and beyond
