I believe in simplifying the science concepts based on everyday experiences, then building up on those basics, stressing on the kind of questions that examiners ask, what variations of the questions one can be examined on, and giving time to read/practice and come back with problems.
I gave tutoring classes to all middle school and high-school students, including GCSE and A-levels. I'm especially confident teaching IB subjects. The way I teach is very student focused. I believe that not only is it important for me to be able to explain concepts clearly, but to be able to adapt to my students by listening to their advice and questions.
My teaching method focuses on going over content in such a way as to identify struggles with understanding and breaking down subjects into easily digestible chunks and measuring progression to prevent frustration. I approach each topic from a standpoint based on it's use in problem solving and within the larger scope of the field.
My Students are all either taking their GCSE/ A-Levels. I use the curriculum used in their schools/colleges, also to make things fun I use real life examples and make sure the students apply their knowledge. I am friendly so I don't bite.
My teaching methodology is simple ways to make you understand a concept or idea to be able to apply it later in any situation, i encourage questions and ensure understanding before moving on to other regions of the course, i like to base my classes on required syllabus and learning objectives
My teaching method is based entirely on the pupil, and is adaptable to their needs. I give lessons to GCSE Biology and A Level students, but also to anyone interested in learning more about Biology.
I like to offer visual and auditory help, and discuss and question rather than lecture. I also love colour and coding different terms for consolidating memory. I take a really hands on approach as I know learning biology can be hard sometimes.
Having being taught in many different settings with varying teaching methods, I would like to adapt what I have learnt to suit the needs of each student. Through explanations, drawing, (even dancing if I must), I want to help achieve the full potential of each student.
My method of teaching is based on facts and figures. I give real time scenarios and relate biology to day to day examples that amplifies each student's learning ability. This helps in understanding the deep rooted knowledge of a particular topic which allows my students to dive into the beautiful world of biological sciences and technology .
My sessions will be structured around you. However, I appreciate that you might not know yet how you want the sessions to run so here is a template of what the sessions might look like: Recap of last session: A quick quiz or discussion to see whether you remembered what we covered last session and an opportunity to highlight weaknesses that we missed last session.

My name is Madeleine White, I am a 6th form student and I offer lessons to secondary students preparing for their GCSE's.
I tailor my lessons to each individual's needs. Working though exam style questions, past papers or concepts that a student is particularly struggling on.
My teaching is tailored to your needs and learning preferences. There are two main types of lesson: One is subject focused tutorials. For example, if you struggle to understand a scientific concept, I will plan a tutorial around that subject to help you make sense of it. If desired, this kind of lesson can be supplemented with homework that tests your understanding of the subject.
I usually taught my student and friend by direct explanation and drawing method because in Biology it requires high level imagination as it is mostly at cellular level. Some simple drawings and chart are really helpful and easy to understand.
At GCSE I achieved an A* in Biology and an A at A-Level. I then chose to continue my studies at the University of Sheffield, studying Biomedical Science. I thoroughly enjoyed A-Level Biology and wish to inspire those that may find Biology a challenge, at any level from Primary school to A-Level. Biology has a spectrum of different topics, all of which would be a pleasure for me to teach.
I am a recent master's graduate in Neuroscience, with a previous BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Sheffield. I teach Biology (general, but mainly human/medical) at a GCSE, AS/A2-Level, Undergraduate Biology (Molecular, Cellular, Genetics, Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience) as well as Postgraduate Neuroscience.
I maintain that to do well overall, the ins and outs of a process must be understood in detail (or at least appreciated). To do this one must methodically break down why a process is happening, what the grand purpose of the process is, and how that process relates to other aspects and concepts learnt.

My own learning method is not about memorisation, but about understanding the problem and systems as a whole. I believe this leads to true understanding. I approach my teaching in much the same method; if you have a rounded understanding, anything which is forgotten can be worked out.

Willing to teach small groups or individuals. Secondary School and A Level Students welcome! Lessons will follow the requirements of the student. These specific requirements will give effect to what level of study the student is undergoing.
I approach teaching in different ways: using the discussion method where from the topic of the lesson, I present a problem and with the student (s) , we discuss and solve the problem, with the solution being the learning objective of the lesson.
