I have experience in teaching A-Level students one-on-one, having previously tutored in A-Level maths. I graduate from the University of Warwick (ranked 3rd in the UK) in July. I will have completed a degree in Economics, Politics and International Studies (with study abroad at the prestigious Università Bocconi in Milan).
I am a dynamic Economics tutor studying this same subject at A level and intending to pursue it at a higher level.
My first session is free, to go over exactly what the tutee hopes to gain from our sessions. After this, I follow a process of reviewing previous material, then teaching and testing new material, and finally summarising with a brief plenary, including setting further work if necessary. I also have an enhanced DBS/CRB check.
Friendly and patient. Will aim to use multiple methods of teaching to appeal to all students. Try to use a common-sense approach and a lot of question & answer to allow the student to reach their potential! I have a degree in BSc Industrial Economics (2:1) which has a strong grounding in maths but also many practical elements, giving me a rounded skill base from which to teach.
I have recently graduated with a first class honours in BSc Economics at City University. I have been tutoring GCSE Mathematics since October 2014. I am very experienced in tutoring and I enjoy teaching. I also intend to pursue a career in teaching GCSE level mathematics. I am very patient, dedicated and have a laid back approach.
