I firmly believe that, with the right intervention, everyone is capable of both reading and writing. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Literacy/English I specialise in tuition for absolute beginners in reading and writing. My degree has given me great insight into both barriers to literacy, and pre-literacy skills that must be present before reading can be successful.
My teaching method is based on the individual recipient. I am able to give lessons to from Secondary school level up to university students. I have a simple methodology when it comes to tutoring which is based on patience and participation.
I like to teach on a one to one basis as I believe that each individual has their unique way of learning. My teaching methodology consists in understanding each pupils learning method and interests and adapting my lessons accordingly.
I have worked in education for over 10 years and have helped countless primary age children achieve success in their learning
- Classes Kumon provide individualised Maths and English programmes. Attendance at the centre is on a "drop-in" basis as each child works on their own individual development plan. Children take approximately 20-30 minutes per subject and attend class once or twice a week.

As English is based on a subjective system (there aren't any particular right or wrong answers) I prefer to assess the student's current technique, talk about what they think could be better and the aim is to find easy quick ways (that they will remember!) to pick up marks throughout the papers. Then, to implement these in various tasks and essays is essential.
I would share with all my students my passion for English as I believe that a student cannot learn if they do no love what they’re being taught
I am a student at Edge Hill university studying BA Hons Secondary English Education, I am available via webcam and around ormskirk to tutor key stage 3 and GCSE students in both English Language and English Literature, as a trainee teacher I have a good knowledge of the high school curriculum and will be able to follow this in my lessons.
my teaching methods will be adapted to each child as every child learns differently. As the resources will adapt for each child it will make it easier for them to learn the material. I will try my best to come up with new material to suit each child.
- Classes Kumon is all about Maths and English learning, not 'teaching' in the conventional sense. Our approach is different. We pursue each individual's potential by nurturing their self -learning skills. We don't spoon feed students with knowledge as we don't want them to learn to become dependent on – or limited by – the skills and knowledge of others.
I would base each lesson on individual student needs and would take care to ensure the student was being provided with the help they require where they need it, I am training to be a teacher so see this as a fantastic opportunity to begin planning and structuring lessons and papers.
I offer tutoring for Primary school, High school and College level students who are preparing for exams, having trouble submitting assignments and need more guidance or creating study plans. My lesson structure is catered entirely to the individual whom I am teaching unless I am hosting a group session, where I will instead focus on the weaknesses/requirements of the group as a whole.
. I am happy to tutor primary or secondary school age , helping prepare pupils for exams . I have a good sense of humour which hopefully keeps children/ young people engaged and am flexible.
I believe that the best way to help and educate is through covering the basics, then building atop of those specifications in order to achieve a thorough understanding and thus, the best grade. As a university student, my academic knowledge is constantly growing, mostly due to the vast amount of advanced reading on other subjects I do in my spare time.

I work primarily up to A level for English, Religious Education/Philosophy and Ethics and History. I have found that the best way to encourage learning and understanding is by encouraging discussion, debate and teaching back. It also helps to foater critical thinking and analysis skills.
I work to the needs of my students so I do not have a set way of teaching, I make sure the students fully understand and enjoy what they are doing no matter what it takes! I am Hassel from a university with the course of bachelor of science in Medical Laboratory Science and I will happily give lessons to those who will be needing my help, especially undergraduates. I like to begin my understanding my students’ weaknessess as well as their strengths.
