Welcome! A freelance tutor and singer, I give "Personal tuition in the right key". I can help you get the highest grades in exams, and study in the "key" that best suits you. Like the right song choices, I often inspire my students to succeed.
I'm an ESL and a French teacher with a very wide and long teaching experience. I'm happy to say that my students have always achieved their goals and passed successfully their examinations (GCSE, A level,Baccalaureat or higher levels). Each student remains unique to me and his/her improvement is my priority.
I teach students at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I privilege a communicative method, which will prioritise the speaking skills of the student, although I can adapt to more specific needs, especially when preparing for an exam.
Most of my teaching so far has been face to face in person as most of my students were based in oxford or the surrounding areas. Lately I have had more and more students online from recommendations. My lessons are relaxed, to the point, instructive and a lot of fun.
Who can learn without repeating over again? - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach French and German, English and Maths - all of them up to GCSE. I teach French and Economics up to A Level. I also offer English as a Foreign Language (EFL). In addition, I am a teacher of the Alexander Technique and member of STAT.

I have loads of resources that I can give you so that you are more confident when using the foreign language. I adapt to your own path and to your way of learning. I fix you small reachable goals so that you can see by yourself your evolution in the use of the language.

I am trying to base my classes on multimedia like videos, videoclips (as I really enjoy teaching languages through music), presentations. Also, I put a lot of emphasis on learning grammar and I like to extend pupils' vocabulary by teaching them day-to-day words and expressions, which are often ignored in the manuals.
I approach each topic by a complete understanding of any words and issues concerning the topic, continuing by giving vocabulary, grammar rules and tips, but I mostly am looking forward to get the pupil comfortable with the language, as french is a fabulous one.
I adapt my teaching style depending on your needs, your level of French, your personality, your goals and your personal interests. I believe that every class needs to be personalised and students need to gain confidence progressively when speaking.
I base my teaching around active learning. I use work sheets often for grammar and verbs, and encourage students to always note down new vocabulary, wherever they may be.
The classroom can be limiting as a space to learn a language. For this reason I offer 1-1, personalised lessons with real-world examples from Francophone countries, and original French resources, which students and I can talk through and do together, in person or online.
I like to base my lessons on current events and popular culture, so that students have a stronger connection with what they are learning about. I love studying French and so I want to pass on this love to others.
I design activities to engage/capture learner to enable teaching to rich lessons outcome in a structured playfully calm manner.
I’m just going to try and help you at your pace.
