I started learning French when I was 8 years old and from then I loved it. I grew up in a francophone family, watched french movies, read french books and did my engineering studies in French. I have a bachelor degree in engineering and 6 years experience in management consulting. I am very flexible with the teaching method depending on what are the learner's preferences.
I'm currently studying mechanical engineering at the University of Surrey. I'm currently on a one year placement at Siemens in Lincoln. Portuguese and Italian are my native languages. My 12 years of education prior to University were done in a French school so I consider French being my third native language. My English has become fluent in the part two years (since I started my degree).

Hi! Salut! My name is Sam, I will be your new personal tutor of French! I am a successful student of many languages, but I wasn't always this way and understand what it is like to struggle with French. I am very patient and can show you how I became confident at conversing in this language.
I had to mix writing with drawings and to slowly focus on writing of the letters. Then pronouncing while writing. To help them memorising, I used to attach a representative images ( especially animals) to each letter. From letters we go into syllables to make it easier for a child pronouncing a full word and a sentence, in the right French accent.
The methodology for student is to learn through themes and activities supports, the speaking and vocabularies are the key elements.
I am able to give lessons to students up to GCSE through the use of immersion, and go over essential knowledge for their level
