My teaching method is tailored to the student and their specific needs. I can give lessons to any degree of ability, from learning basic vocabulary and grammar to conversation. I like to give each lesson an overarching theme, beginning with some vocabulary, and then progressing to exercises.
The method that I use depends on the needs and aims of the different learners. In general, the lesson will be divided into three parts: - A conversation focused on the interests of the learner - Reading and comprehension exercises based on texts - Description and explanation of the grammatical and syntactic rules of the Italian language followed by focused exercises.
I mainly teach online using PowerPoint presentations which I share on my screen. This makes the lesson more interactive and less boring for the student who can visualise the language and practice all four skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading) simultaneously, in every lesson.
I am bilingual Italian/English with Italian being my mother tongue. I have taught Italian for a few years, mainly on a one to one basis, with adult learners. The knowledge of two languages gives me the ability to teach to non-Italian people.
I give lessons to children, students and adults at various levels (GCSE, A level, general knowledge). I believe that no right teaching method exists. My lessons are personalised based on each student's level and interests. During my lessons of Italian, students practice all the skills, i.e. writing, speaking and listening.
Ciao ;) Italian is my mother tongue, I have been working as an Italian teacher for graduates, I can help you learn to speak Italian in an easy way, I can explain to students in both English and Arabic, and if you are on a good level we'll only use Italian.
I base my lessons on the particular needs of the students and I try to understand the way they can learn quickly.
I am a keen and passionate teacher and I can help you with learning my language, whether you are just starting or already have some experience. I have a solid knowledge of the Italian grammar and vocabulary, as well as of its literature. I always look for the best approaches to make learning easier and keep students engaged.
Every student is different so I will decide approach and method based on the student's requests and weakness. I will provide high quality teaching materials or help you with your homework.
I have obtained my BA and MA degrees in Foreign Modern Languages at the University of Genoa (Italy). During and after my studies I have gained experience in tutoring children, teenagers, and adults in Italian, English, French, and German.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach music (violin and viola) and Italian. I also offer chamber music coaching, and also play folk music (specially good for beginners). For Italian, from beginners to university level or for business: grammar, conversation, book reading. - Tell me about your qualifications. Degree in music at the Conservatory of Music of Milan (Italy).
I strongly believe that there is nothing like practice to learn/improve a new language. So my focus is always on the conversational part rather than grammar. That's how children learn to speak.
Practise Practise is the best I use cards and motivation lessons And different situations when you might need when you holidays or every day
