My methodology really depends on the age. For example, if I am teaching to kids, I often use images to represent concepts. It also depend on the level. If the student’s level is already pretty good, I tend not to speak English at all so that students are encouraged to think in Italian, and also, to get used to the sound of the Italian language.
My teaching strategy will adapt itself to the student's needs and ability. I am not authoritarian and am always sympathetic to a student's problems. - Which subject(s) do you teach?
