From a very young age, I developed an interest in money management and the skills needed to do this; I enjoyed saving money in a piggy bank to help purchase a new toy. Also, playing the role of ‘shop lady’ fulfilled my desire of handling money and running a business. My teaching method varies from student to student. My preferred method is to explain the ideology of the topic first. I follow this up with going through a written example with the student and explaining the example thoroughly before I give them an example to work on. If they struggle I will help them were they go wrong and then present them with another example.

I'm a student myself studying a level maths but I teach GCSE students in my school at the same time. My teaching style is very simple: first I explain how to do a question using an example, then I do a question with the student, guiding them. To check their understanding, I give them a question to do by themselves and go over any mistakes or misconceptions if necessary.
