I believe I am a responsible and capable tutor as I combine my passion for science with teaching, focusing on students` strengths when studying and at the same time signalling areas of improvement helping them to see mathematics as an enjoyable subject referring back to real-life examples, transforming a theoretical subject into a more practical and fascinating field.
I am a Secondary Maths teacher who specialises in inspiring students to not only pass Maths exams, but also see the prospects of their knowledge in Maths.
My teaching methodology is based on certain principles:-1 1. First lesson is for familiarisation with students and get to know their expectations and to build confidence. 2. Systematic approach to each topic student needs to learn with focus on exam-type of questions, marking scheme and any other student requirement. 3. Homework to encourage independent study and build student confidence.
I like to keep my lessons relaxed, so the students feel comfortable to ask questions and give everything the best they can. If a student has a specific topic they want to cover, I will plan work for us to go through or cover work they have from school/university. If the student doesn’t understand the topic, I can always think of a different way to tackle it.
I am Priscilla, a Maths teacher with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring of Maths. Teaching Maths is my passion and I get no greater satisfaction than my students' success. I love to share in that moment when my students evolve from struggling with Maths to competence, anyone can do it.
Usually i like to help students understand certain subjects or certain things in a certain subject by moulding around them and try to see what they understand and what they need help on. I like to hint the answer to the students, rather than giving them the answer and slowly building up that students knowledge.
when i teach i show the student the fun side of what they're doing and the simplicity and elegance of it. this helps them to understand the roots of the topic and therefore tackle any question thrown their way, i usually teach A level students as I know a levels can be tough at first but after they understand what they are doing they are completely fine.

I am a young and professional person that will set a high standard from the beginning, this would work both from myself as a tutor but also what I expect of those that I tutor. I am currently still in my first year of A-Levels, but have learned from some of the best teachers I have which allowed me to achieve great grades at GCSE level.
I have a high grade B in GCSE maths and understand AS level Maths (OCR MEI) really well. I just finished my A2 exams and you'd think that i've had enough of it but I enjoy AS level maths. I focus on the basic concepts to get the foundation strong and then exploring the relevant developments and expansions around the concepts. Explain any real time applications to use as examples and study cases. I would like to follow the curriculum as well to ensure school academics is up to date.
My price per lesson cant be beaten for the quality of teaching which I aim to provide. I will look to focus and prioritise working on any weak points or issues addressed by a student/parent or discovered by myself. I am looking to help students particularly at GCSE and Secondary School level in subjects such as Maths , Economics , Business and other subjects on request.
My teaching method is practice, practice, practice. I explain processes and then allow you to practise using purposeful examples. I give real-life examples so that you can apply new skills to situations you would encounter in your day-to-day life. Many students have expressed how ‘easy’ maths can be when it is explained well.
I am a fully qualified and a highly experienced private Mathematics tutor. I offer one to one and group tuition. My teaching methods are very adaptable depending on the student's needs. I have a secure understanding of the new 9-1 curriculum and so ensure my lessons are planned adequately with the relevant resources to accompany.
Maths can be a complicated subject but when you add the element of fun into it, it can get very exciting ! Math can be difficult for some children and I can say that honestly as I have seen that through my day to day work, it is important to teach children to be confident with their work which will help them to develop in the subject itself.
I test the students to begin with using a test so I can pick out which topics the student need assistance with. I try my best to adapt to a method that the student learn easily from so ask the student for information about their studying methods. I use examples and puzzles if they are easier for the student to pick up information also use a whiteboard along with a computer/laptop.
My teaching methods is a topic by topic approach with small tests to check that everything has been properly learned and understood. I am more than happy to help with any work above the syllabus to ensure that the student is ready for the challenging exams that come towards them.
I give tuition to students from primary, secondary level up to GCSE level. My technique includes doing many past paper questions, going through the content thoroughly until the student feels confident. I shall give regular small tests to see the progress, and I will go through the test with the student. I will maintain my knowledge of the subject by looking over the topic before the lesson.
My teaching method is tailored to each student and depends on how my tuttee learns and what they are struggling on. Furthermore my characteristics are patient, understanding, compassionate and kind. I am willing to help any student who wants to learn.
Each student is unique and they have a method that helps them to learn to their full potential. The teachers support their pupils to gain full potential in every way possible. The lessons are tailor made for the students, enabling them to access their own strengths and learning needs at their own pace. The questions and prompts will enable students better understanding of tasks in hand.
First of all I would like to clear you, that I am 16 years old, I have been in three different countries, and I particularly excel in maths, but I am also very dedicated to other subjects, including geometry, business studies, design.
In my lessons I will be informative and with a particular emphasis on exam technique as this is what will get the students the grades. Content will also be perfected, in a fun, and instructive way which will be sure to stick to the students brain.
I always like to help solve problems and explain topics on subjects that that I understand if I can. I teach in a way that makes the person fully understand both the topic/question and answer. I believe everyone learns in a unique specific way and once you find the way for an individual, it will be easy for them to understand . It will also be fun too.
I'm a student myself studying a level maths but I teach GCSE students in my school at the same time. My teaching style is very simple: first I explain how to do a question using an example, then I do a question with the student, guiding them. To check their understanding, I give them a question to do by themselves and go over any mistakes or misconceptions if necessary.
My teaching method is to review the topic with the student first, provide them with additional notes on the topic and then do questions with them to ensure they fully understand the topic. Any weaknesses identified are then further explained and the student is allowed to keep the notes I provide for future reference.
My teaching method differs for students and I have different methods for individuals to help them to achieve the best grade possible
