I have experience in teaching Mathematics for the Secondary level in Bangladesh. I think here I can teach Mathematics to the primary level students. At first, before starting my lesson I would like to talk with student/s and parents to find out the priorities. I approach with simple to the complex method for solving the mathematical problems.
I teach my classes to kids looking for help with Scottish exam level maths and physics. I focus on the existing knowledge and skills of the child, questioning them to think of solutions then guiding them through these, as I think we learn so much better when we are challenged ourselves to produce the answer rather than copy a routine.
My teaching method is focusing on students by developing their attitude, knowledge and skills which are also the three key values to capture any new concepts. I'm here to share my experience to make students be well-prepared, more adoptable and passionate in pharmacy and chemistry classes.
I have been tutoring for students of all levels for several years. My approach to teaching is friendly and relaxing and I make sure that learning is an enjoyable experience for all my students. I offer personalised tutoring for individual needs rather than reading or teaching the same to all. This proved successful by looking at results of my students (references are available on request).
My teaching method includes teaching the students from the base and fundamentals, getting all concepts cleared, giving assignments and periodic assessments to check on the progress of my student. I try to make teaching as practical as possible. I am very friendly and very patient in order to ensure that my students do not hesitate to approach me incase in doubt.
I fit my tutoring to each individual student, usually starting with a topic, getting to grips with the basic knowledge before building on that. SQA level Once the student has a good understanding of the topic, we will look at exam questions, and techniques in dealing with these.
I establishe a safe and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect. I try to create a relaxed atmosphere within class-pupil talk, confidence to speak and discuss. I allow students to develop and understanding in different ways and with different speeds.
I have a Master in Physics and I am completing a post-graduate diploma to become a Secondary Teacher. I know very well the Scottish Curriculum in Maths and Physics, and can help you at any level, especially National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher.
Throughout the IB Diploma I was tutoring my fellow classmates in our organized study sessions. Given this experience, I would like to establish myself as a reputable IB tutor. I have found that most IB Diploma students struggle to achieve the grades they aim for, because the difficult material is taught to them through the wrong medium, with incorrect methodology.
I am a very experienced mathematician who enjoys breathing life into the subject. My background is in secondary education and I understand completely the barriers and difficulties people have with the subject. The main strategy to solve these problems is using clear explanation and lots of examples to illustrate the difficult topics.
I am a very patient person and I will find the best way to help you learn the topics. I have been helping my dyslexic friend with every year of maths she has had and she walks away from our sessions with an understanding of the maths and is not frustrated by her learning struggle. I will put in the same amount of effort for you that I possibly can.
I am a current Masters student at the University of Glasgow, reading for an MSci. in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry. I mainly give lessons to Scottish secondary school pupils studying for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths qualifications.
I think the most important first step is to find the method that suits the student the most. Everbody is individual and learns differently. I prefer to let the student work alone, try to figure out the problems themselves and help them with clues to lead them to the solutions. The most important thing is to teach the student how to think, not how to solve a specific exercise.
I believe that there is no set way in which learning can be carried out so I will work with both the student and parent in order to find the best approach for the students needs.
I believe that every pupil should be able to learn in a judgement free environment. This will help them further their knowledge without fear of making mistakes, and the student would be able to carry this ethos forward in their future career. I believe that a student should be able to ask questions whenever they feel they need, but I also don't believe the answer should be given straight to them.
My teaching method is fun and I use textbooks and worksheets in order to help the student to enjoy the subject. If it is not enjoyable it is harder to learn. I have a range of students from as young as nusery children to people in university.
My aim generally is that we have fun. I think enjoying a subject is the biggest advantage you can have. I'll try to share my love for a subject with my victim. I may set some unusual questions to gauge how much you've understood at the end of a topic.
Starting from fundamental concepts to teach students is an efficient method. Students who are struggling with some mathematical questions, for most of the time, the reason is that they misunderstand or forget some basic concepts which lead them to a wrong answer.
I am offering lessons to student of all levels. I am most comfortable with maths however have experience in many other engineering-related areas and can offer my help for these too. I prefer to go through worked examples to really make sure you will understand the concepts for yourself.
I am a full time chemical engineer working in energy/nuclear decommissioning. I did my GCSEs and A-levels (Biology, Chemistry and Maths) in London before moving out for my degree in Chemical Engineering in the University of Aberdeen in 2009-2013. Since then I have worked as a chemical/process engineer in the nuclear industry.
In my first year of a Mechanical Engineering degree. I give lessons to anyone taking Checkpoint GCSE and A level Mathematics. Use a one on One technique with my students and always encourage extra work, homework is and important part of my methodology and lesson structure.
Hello, am having a master degree in ECE, currently pursuing Msc in theoretical physics. Tutoring is fun, it helps the tutor to enhance its knowledge in respective subjects. My lessons will be structured according to the requirement of the students.
Hey there! I currently study mechanical engineering at Strathclyde University in Glasgow and I am looking to tutor maths and physics over the summer, upto SQA Higher level. Personally, I feel that the way maths is generally taught in schools in Scotland leaves much to be desired and can be very boring. This was certainly my experience during my school years.
For each topic I will teach the various skills necessary for that level of work. I expect the student to listen in class as I teach these skills. My teaching methodology is that I will teach the pupil the skills folllwed by me completing example questions for the pupil to follow. After this the pupil will go through some written examples with me by their side to offer full support.
Students are not the same and learning needs can vary wildly from one individual to another. My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the person and are always taught with patience and kindness in order to help each student develop and expand their skillsets.
I approach each student as an individual. Each person will have different needs, and it is important first to understand these before constructing a lesson. Seemingly complex concepts can often be understood when the right examples are chosen to illustrate them, and these should be tailored to the student's needs and interests.
I 'd like to help high school students. such like 11 degrees students, 12 degrees or 13 degrees. My teaching method is focusing on students' home exercises, especially on the mistaken exercises.
I can teach maths and physics at any level up to undergraduate level, and many science related subjects up to Higher level.
Each individual has it own way of learning and my teaching approach will be adjusted for the individual. I will be giving lessons up to A Levels. I will be guiding you to achieve the grade you are looking for.
I will only help primary school children with mathematics. My lesson will consist of the time that the tutee needs, I will discuss a plan with my tutee on the first day we meet e.g. areas of struggle and how I can help them build and improve upon that. I have currently completed the first year of my psychology degree, I've successfully completed the six years of secondary school.
