Personally I believe the teaching method depends on the student I'm working with. Different people learn in different ways and thus being adaptable to each person's individual needs is key. Technique and Pattern are the core aspects of understanding maths at this level and so would be the starting point of teaching.
All of my lesson observations show that I 'teach to the top'. I give all students the A* lesson quality they deserve, for any students that need a bit of support I am prepared to enable them to reach the upper grades with fully differentiated work. I have taught SEN and students on the spectrum. I take personal pride in ensuring my lessons are fit for purpose.
My teaching method is an interactive one, I like to engage students through out my lessons so students are actively involved throughout the class. I offer tutorials to individuals as well as group of people up to the university level.
I am an academic electrical and electronic engineer because after my graduation I was teaching undergraduates degree at the university and I worked as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Demonstrator at my college for 4 years until I began my MSc.
Whenever I begin teaching students I try to use their preferred learning styles (more practical based, listening based, or writing based). I am confident in giving lessons up to GCSE level by using these methods. I plan each lesson ahead of time and hone onto whatever the student needs to help them to progress through their studies.
I will deliver lessons to every level up-to undergraduate, I have in the past given advice to final year and MSc Psychology students in uses of SPSS and Hypothesis testing. My teaching method is that I will always asses the needs of the student first, and tailor a teaching plan that will best facilitate their academic development.
I am available to teach primary KS1 and KS2 subjects either at home or online via Skype. I am trained in phonics, I hold a great subject knowledge in maths, English, science, topics - feel free to ask any questions or about any primary area and I am sure I can be of help.
I give lessons to people at college level or below. I will act more like a friend to build a relationship with my students as I am friendly and easy to talk to. I learn the ways in which my students find it easiest to learn and base my lessons around that.
I encourage memory and understanding of topics rather than just passing exams. Confidence is often the key and I provide different ways of learning to suit the individual. I enjoy focusing on honing an individuals logical and reasoning skills which will be beneficial in all aspects of life later on.
I am a Maths Graduate and have been teaching in schools around the country for 24 years. I have held a Head of Maths position for 11 of those years as well as being a Lead Practitioner for Maths. I have a real passion for this subject and love inspiring others through my teaching. I have taught all abilities from years 7 to year 13. I strive to make lessons clear, engaging and fun.
My teaching method is to let the student choose what he/she is struggling with, and to teach that particular topic in different ways until the student is able to fully understand it, and is able to solve any question given. There are many different ways to approach each question, and everyone will have their favourite way to solve them, and I will help them find their way.
My teaching method is to try to make each lesson fun and so engage the student. With maths I'm a firm believer that number bonds and times tables are the foundation of all the maths up to GCSE level and would focus on that first if the student is having any problems.
I change my teaching style based on the students previously knowledge and understanding. So that we can work together and get the most out of the time we have. Because I know that is hard to stay focused for a long time, I try keep my sessions relaxed but effective.
Teach maths up to GCSE level, I can help with general understanding around the subject or to prepare for exams. Lessons can be based on pupils specific needs or on general exam practice. Before each lesson I will have a plan in place to maximise the time we have together.

Looking to teach GCSE and A-level or below. I am very flexible and will be led by the student and their own tailored requirements. I am a strong believer in revisiting information, active recall and getting the student to reach a point where they themselves are able to explain the topic being taught.
Working with each student I provide tailored lessons for KS2/3 and GCSE students. As a qualified teacher I understand the need to vary my teaching style and content depending on each student to help you to gain confidence in Maths.
My methods would be to listen to the students question and make the answer to their problems as simple as possible for them to understand. Because I’ve previosuly worked as a teaching assistant (forgot to add in previous comment) I know how a child with a problem will approach a teacher and I know how a teacher should respond.

I'm a University student and I will be tutoring maths to all primary and secondary students. To teach maths, first i need to know which syllabus your school is following to ensure i can tutor everything you will need to know to pass your exams at a high grade. Once i know the syllabus i will separate the sub-topics and go in detail with you and make sure you understand it all.
