I can give lessons to anyone wanting to learn French or Spanish at GCSE or A Level. My lessons would begin by assessing your current level of the language and I would start with basic revision of the language, such as grammar and speaking. I can then help with any questions you may have regarding any aspect of the language or practice with speaking, writing, reading, listening or grammar.
I believe that teaching and learning a new language must be fun, so I would engage with lots of interactive material together with fun facts, easy tips and cultural references, giving examples such as songs, movies, TV shows...
The lessons will vary according to the student's skill level. - I always try to teach from the ground up, starting with simple exercises. - My background is multicultural with a strong emphasis on drama and acting. - This has made my teaching approach to be very friendly, easygoing, and dynamic. Students of all ages have enjoyed the classes and made a clear progress in the usage of the language.
I usually teach people who have a pretty good control of the language already and want to develop more plasticity in their speech, getting to know the quirks and expressions that will make you sound like a native, as well as working on their speaking and vocabulary. I think having fun is essential, and I use a lot of media resources such as movies, tv shows, music, books...
I believe patience is a necessary quality for a tutor, and a student should never feel pressure when learning. Learning languages is a journey and takes time, however I would be here to help anyone up to Advanced Higher level or DELE level C1. I believe a combination of different teaching methods is the best and teaching methods should be based on what is best for the student.
For beginners I work from a book called Sueños and give students the audio material and activity book to work from at home and ensure they get practice speaking and understanding the grammar in lessons. I also like to play games and sing with very young students. For high school students I work from past papers to ensure they are set to pass exams.
I base my classes on the curriculum students get at their schools. I explain the theory with practical exercises, I always ask the student to try first by himself and then we will review everything together. My main focus is on vocabulary.
My lessons focus on four pillars of Spanish fluency: (1) Listening (2) Speaking (3) Reading (4) Writing. If you already speak Spanish and would like to practice, I can offer conversation sessions in which we will converse in Spanish and focus on listening, comprehension, and speaking.
I am a current MSc student in UofG, and I have experience working with kids in maths, also I have experience working with adults for solving doubts. I like to help and my methodology is based on learning through experience in a fun way. I always try to explain with simpler words and with lots of examples.
I have guided the younger students with various numeracy and literacy exercises with a Montessori approach. I have involved worksheets and worked games into my learning sessions with younger students, as i believe this produced the best results.
I try to make the class very dynamic, trying to introduce pedagogical ways of learning and improving the critical knowledge of the student. I specially like to enhance the critical analysis, the learning methods and the organisation of work before overloading the student with many homework.
Creativity in teaching lessons: this is the best way to learn a new language. Work with topics which are important for the student as art, music, poems, history. Then innovative lesson planning and interactive teaching / learning are part of my teaching methodology.
I'm not a professional teacher, although that's what I would like to become. I'm open to offer anyone extra help with their Spanish studies, as I believe that to improve languages, you have to work with them on a daily basis.
My teaching method is friendly and conversational. This can however be adapted to suit the individual students needs. If there is a specific area that needs work the classes can be tailored towards that. I enjoy providing a fun but conducive learning environment.

My teaching method is based on the idea that teaching should be entertaining. This does not mean that it must always be a very fun activity, but one that challenges you and leaves you with the feeling of wanting to know more whilst it is developed it in a way that it can be enjoyable.
My teaching method is through conversations of topics of your interest and through activities that can make the learnkng process more fun
My teaching method is mainly based on the communicative approach mixed with active learning, by building the student self-confidence and raise the interest in the cultural aspects. I believe all learners can speak a foreign language by being consistent and enthusiast.
