Bonjour tout le monde! :) I devote time to my student and provide french tuition that is tailored to your individual needs because I want to meet your expectations and learning goals. As a tutor, I am really patient and enthusiastic. I revel in sharing learning with students who want to learn.
My approach to teaching is based on FLE methodology which prioritises the student's active participation while strengthening his/her knowledge with entertaining and fun exercices. Grammar is taught making use of an authentic context and ressources are carefully chosen to fit both the student's personal interests and study requirements.
I love sharing, I am a committed and fervent tutor. I love listening and understanding people, communities and societies. My teaching experience, my observational and listening skills, my creativity and imagination, help me find and elaborate bespoke resources and work plans, with adjustment of objectives and development.
Having been an au pair 4 times, I am aware that patience is a key word, especially because French is one of the hardest language to learn. I first teach easy words (colours, animals, etc) and their pronunciation and then go onto actual spelling, vocabulary, rules..
I am truly passionate about languages and I am myself fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. My brain is a language center and my methods are easy to follow, integrating a variety of interactive materials to englobe all aspects of language learning. I adapt to my student and can cater for all levels and ambitions.
I believe that the best way to learn is through fun. Therefore adapting to the learner is key - using games, discussions and activities based on the student's interests. I love sharing my culture and teaching one of its more important aspects - the language. I can teach in my home or yours, or in a convenient location.
Having studied languages all my life, I am a true advocate of learning through speaking and conversation. Whilst grammar is an integral part of the French language and will not be ignored, speaking will be the main focus of the lessons. I am also happy to help with any problems you have encountered in school and going through homework you have been set as well.
My method of teaching is being able to not only learn vocabulary and grammar at the same time but to apply both of them in practice. I believe strongly in advancing vocabulary through small tests and recapping sessions to keep the words within memory, as well as grammar practice in as much depth as possible to the student's ability.
When learning French as a very young child, and discussing this subject with older people trying their hardest to learn the language, I found that most people are able to understand written and some oral at a reasonable standard but struggle expressing themselves and formulating sentences. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to hear and force yourself speak it.
Confucius : "I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." Indeed, when teaching, one must be a listener/enabler at all times – guiding the student in the right direction as to pronunciation and writing - but also being able to give them the space to practice speaking “freely”, let them appropriate the materials and experiment with them.
My approach relies on three concepts : Flexibility | As a mother, I know the everyday life can be messy and time consuming. This is why I propose classes outside of the 9-5 traditional scheme and during weekends. Efficiency | I don't have a program that I copy paste on every student, hoping it's going to work.
My name is Guillaume, 28 from France.
It really depends on you - I'm happy to tailor my lessons to what you want to get out of it. For conversation I would ask you to prepare something ( an article, a TV programme) for discussion so that we have a lot to discuss, and then work on expression, fluency and vocabulary.
I like to adapt myself to the needs of the student, wether you want to achieve a particular academical goal or wether you want improve you level in general. If you are taking French lessons in school it is always better to have a tutor at home to help you practice the speaking since it is usually laking in school.
My teaching method to learn french in 3 words; practice, practice, practice. There's nothing better than carry a discussion, and through talking and using words several times, I would use basically te technics I applied on myself when I first came in the UK for studying.
My teaching method is based on the needs of the individual with regard to getting the best grades possible. I sat the exams relatively recently and know how to get them passed. Any level or ability is welcome and i am a patient person by nature.
-I can give French lessons at any level and for several purposes (curiosity, French exams, language test...) -I always adapt my method to the person (age, aims...) but usually, a French lesson is based on written and oral expression and comprehension.
I'm a young graduate but I have been tutoring for a few years. As a native speaker of French who also studied languages, I know what challenges you face when you're learning a foreign language. I am experimented in teaching French to non-natives and will adapt my lessons to your personal needs.
My method is to find the best way with the student to answer his needs and wishes. Everybody is different that's why is very important for me as tutor to be felxible and open to any approach of teaching as long as the learner is enjoying and learning.
I will prepare lessons relevant to your needs. If you are studying for GCSEs or A Levels, I will do the appropriate research to help you with a specific topic or a specific aspect of the language that you need help with.
I’m looking to help middle school and highschool students to get better marks for their exam by helping them getting ready for test and also gave them a large range of new vocabulary.
I base my classes on your weak points first for you to better comprehend.
Native I am a native French speaker born and raised in the Paris region and I have dual citizenship so I guess, regardless of the referendum outcome, I will remain a French and EU national. Individual or group bookings can be arranged preferably through Skype or by meeting in a local café for those less inclined towards digital forms of communication.
I listen to what my student needs, how he or she likes to work and adapt to this. Usually, I prepare lessons on certain topics and then go through both rules and exercises during the lesson. If possible, I give them homework to make lessons more productive. I also help with school homework and prepare my students for their exams.
I'm a native teacher with 7 years of experience and a master degree in Languages Teaching from a French University. I use a modern and playful approach and I always consider the needs of the students when I prepare the class! I teach to children and adults, from beginners to advanced levels.
One word: personalisation. We'll focus on what you need and what you want.
It's all based on methodology, imagery, sounds and lucidity. We are going to find how your memory works best and then, I will provide you with mnemonics so your results stick with you. I find going from theory to customisable practice is the best way to study a foreign language.
I have experience teaching all kinds of students: young children at school, GCSE and A Level students who would just like a boost, and older students who are simply interested in learning a language. I understand from my own experience that mastering a subject can be difficult, however I believe that with a committed interest, anyone can grasp them.
My teaching method is based on progression, I want you to leave the class feeling that you have learnt something and can put it into action. If that's not enough, I am happy to tailor my classes around your needs.
I can help anyone improving their French language, from children to adult, as it is my native language. I can help with grammar, vocabulary, conjugaison, oral and written comprehension, everything you need. Patient, determined and persevering, I am sure we will succeed.
