This involves comprehensive work on the basics of singing technique to provide a strong foundation to branch out into their specific passion.
Whilst there will always be a theoretical element to learning an instrument, the tutelage I provide is aimed solely towards learning the guitar in a practical sense. Singing - I teach most music styles, but specialise in soul, pop, jazz and musical theatre. Song-writing.
My teaching method is relaxed and fun. I believe everyone can sing, and learn to sing with music they enjoy. Weather you are a total novice, or have an audition or performance you want to work towards, my lessons will help you achieve your ‘singing goal’ in an engaging way.
I like to create a teacher-led environment, but also give my students the autonomy to lead their own learning at times, to ensure that they are getting the very best out of their time with me. Doing this ensures that I can monitor my students progress whilst they feel comfortable with their learning.
My teaching method is entirely based upon the student and what they wish to learn, singing comes from the heart and I believe a student will only truly learn and understand when they are completely invested in the subject.
