I teach, face to face, from my home in Liverpool. My home is only 5 minutes on foot to Rail Station, with access to a major city line. I offer one-to-one lessons (or two-to-one if you are willing to invite a family /friend to join you for the lessons), in a relaxed atmosphere around a cup of tea/coffee and cookies.
My aim is to encourage my students and make them gain the confidence to develop their skills in the language. I like encouraging them to think for themselves and I get them to do so showing them that learning a language can be something fun and interesting. For this, I use real-life material and examples.
As a passionate language learner myself I am more than happy to tutor anyone of any age wanting to learn Spanish, be they beginners, GCSE students or people wanting to learn for their next trip abroad.
I am quite flexible. I adapt my methodology to the needs of my students, so I can help to achieve the goals of each individual using books, ICT, exam boards, and recommending some passive learning techniques such as oral inputs like movies, programs, videos etc.
My teaching method is base on the speaking conversation, in practical examples of how to use the Spanish for real life and Spanish grammar, trying to involve the native language in the new language and creating a sense of the Spanish language achieving the student can understand and use the language in any opportunities.
I adapter to every student and lesson. I like to use technology for teaching, but If you need speaking we can doing in outside. My lessons are based on being informal to make the student feel in a comfortable way.
I believe in learning a language through complete immersion with authentic examples and using real phrases while also using grammar to build and develop your skills
My teaching method is flexible and will vary according to the needs of each student. If you have a textbook, we can use it as a guide for our lesson structure.
Im 20 years old and teach in the style that helps me best in uni: being hands-on, and teaching all skills you need to become more fluent in Spanish.
I base all my lessons taking into consideration the students first, their needs and their background. The student learns better when it is actively involved in the lesson, when the topic coverd are of his/ her real interest. To do so it is important to plan each and every lesson clearly and of course to be open to plan B, as well.
I base my classes on practicing Spanish all the lesson. For me the immersion is extremely important and I help my students feel comfortable when they have to express theirselves even if they do not have a high level. However, I let my students decide how to focus the class to make it really worth it.
During our chats, I will focus on your pronunciation and your vocabulary, helping you to use the correct words, sentences and structures and making you avoid the wrong ones. At first, as I know that it can be difficult to speak about anything if you don't know the language, I will teach you the spanish basic things in a easy and funny way.
Classes adapted to your needs.
I am Silvia from Madrid, Spain. I am living in Liverpool now. I teach all levels and ages. I am a Spanish teacher for Spanish students of Secondary Education and Spanish teacher for learners of Spanish with experience at Rey Carlos I University in Madrid as a DELE examiner.
I teach specifics per person, as each student has his needs. I like to include in my classes music and Spanish songs.
My teaching methods with previous students were to focus manly the class to play different games that involve the learning of the language in all the aspects, different games were used to improve grammar, spelling, pronunciation, writing and listening.
The method I usted myself to learn another languaje is just not to compare both idioms as learn them as an unique way. Is not useful to be translating all the time, just to get used to an idiom. Look for some other ways to say some things and make yourself improve.
My teaching methods are to mix between written and oral work and to base work around subjects of interest to the student
My teaching method is little and often. I believe it’s important to approach languages methodically and I like to focus on grammar and structures to improve students writing and speaking skills.
My aim in teaching is to provide you with a tailored programme that best suits your individual needs and interests. Taking into account your individual learning style I intend to create a situation where you feel relaxed and confident and become enthusiastic about understanding the language.
As I said, I'm in the degree of education and I have learnt a lot of methodologies and approaches as Montessori, the Silent way, Suggestiopedia method...
My teaching methodology depends on my student needs and interests. My main goal is for my student to stay motivated during this learning experience.
I take it upon my self to prepare lessons in advance to make student´s time in class worth their while. I want to bring student´s interest by bringing in real - world examples. I prioritise my students, their walfare and their learning above everything else.
I base my classes on participation, teaching spanish in a funny and interesting way, for children since 3 years old
I am a university student of Chinese and Spanish, however I am fluent in Italian, French, Sinhala and English too.
I have been given lessons to young and old people who wanted to communicate better in my city. I like to focus on everyday basis vocabulary that my students could apply when they go out. I have been following also books but just when the student has a deadline and wishes to finish the programme. If not, I prefer to have them guiding my lessons.
Puedo hablar de cualquier tema, me apoyo en la tecnologia y en la red de internet.
¡Hola! Hello! Ciao! Bonjour! My name is Maria and I am a 23 years old girl from the beautiful Andalusia but actually living in Liverpool (UK) where i work as a Spanish, Italian and French teacher. I've always been really interested by foreign languages and cultures so I decided what i wanted to study and I moved to Granada where I studied at Granada University for four years.
El primer día realizó una prueba de nivel, para ver por donde podemos empezar. Esa clase es gratuita. Me gusta adaptarme a las necesidades de cada alumno, ya que algunos de ellos necesitan pasar una prueba de nivel y otros solo quieren mejorar su pronunciación. Normalmente me gusta dedicar un tiempo a ver gramática y otro a conversar de un tema.
I teach with an active method trying to encourage the students with the language so the best way is teaching topics that will be useful for their daily life. I love to teach them as if they are going to move in a country where Spanish is the first language or if they have to use this language actively. However, I like to use funny games, songs, clips, etc.
