I have Advanced Diploma of the Associate of Business Executives (ABE); Masters in Business Administration (MBA) specialized in services marketing; Postgraduate Diploma of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and a PhD, all from the UK universities.
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London. I have achieved an A* in both A-level and iGCSE Mathematics. I have been an A student all my life and I achieved 3A*s and an A in A-levels and 8A*s and 2As in iGCSEs. I know how to excel in exams and am able to pass my secret to my students. I will make it easier for my student to understand the subject.
Attending a Kumon class is very different to attending a traditional 'school type' class as each student is working on something different, tailored to their individual needs.
When it comes to exam taking, especially with the sciences and maths, the most important thing is finishing your course as early as possible with all the foundations in place to then begin a large set of all the past papers to secure exam technique.
I will first assess my student and tailor the lessons around improving their current level and correcting and errors in their prior knowledge. As their course continues in school, we will be able to run parallel sessions aiding in any confusion or misunderstanding that their main maths teacher was unable to attend to.
My teaching method is to pay as little attention as possible to the subjects where students feel comfortable and spending more time on tricky topics. I also like to practice as many exam questions as possible to create confidence in the student for when they come to the real exam.
My name is Andrei. Maths and Physics were always my preferred subjects. This is reflected through my results as well as in my career. I would like to share my passion for the above with anyone interested and explain the above in simple words so everybody understands the principles. I am calm and patient and able to build a basic understanding from scratches.
My teaching method involves individualised approach responding to pupil’s need and style of learning. It’s aimed at developing students’ problem solving skills and to develop critical thinking leading to retention of knowledge.
Are you trying to increase your grade? Do you want to achieve more? I can help anyone whether they are struggling or whether they want to get the highest grade they can. My teaching is student-centred and based around the mastery model. I teach using methods that suit each individual's learning style - from games, quizes and investigations to drills and exercises.
I have been tutor since September 2015, went through GCSE past papers many times with several students in one to one sessions, tens of students of primary school (preparing for 11+ and boosting sessions). I delivered about 600 hours experience.
I have a real passion for mathematics, I very much enjoy the logicality of the subject and I hope that you find my enthusiasm contagious. I like to discuss problems with my pupils and see the question from their perspective. All of maths stems from very basic building blocks, blocks that many of us already know.
I usually support kids in furthering their understanding up to and including GCSE level. This means I focus on what they are struggling with to help them build confidence in the subject, topic by topic.
My teaching method tends to be fun, and aimed at anyone at school. I aim to focus on areas in which a student struggles in order to give them a broad understanding. I aim to be friendly so that a student feels comfortable asking me questions.
My method of tutoring focuses on teaching the underlying concepts, from which students can build upon the specifics of their syllabus. I work with students in the areas they are struggling in most and focus on building up their confidence, step-by-step until they believe in their own ability.
