My teaching method is based on the individual or the group I am working with. I mainly try to understand the students needs and what they have difficulties with and try to ease their minds slightly. German is a very hard language and therefore it is important to stay calm and deal with each problem step by step.
First: let me know, what you need.
I teach all levels starting from A1 to C2 in both languages, English and German. All lessons are primarily based on the Common Framework of Reference (CFR), but I’m more than happy to adjust the course to YOUR personal needs. My lessons are fully structured to maximise outcome, but at the same time, will incorporate a fun and enjoyable learning environment.
My experience in tutoring led me to a method in which teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process. My primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment, like group projects, student portfolios, and class participation.
I carefully assess my client's needs and offer taylor-made input that my clients can easily understand and that is directly relevant to their lives. I use a variety of different methods to enhance memory performance and motivation, including pattern drill of grammatical constructions, automaticity training and constructivist approaches.
The most important thing is your need. What do you need? We will then focus on that. This could be accent reduction, oral expression, written expression, translation, homework support for your children or preparation for a visit in Germany etc. I am very supportive, calm, enthusiastic and definitely patient. If you take my lessons, you will progress soon as I will always motivate you.
I start with alphabets, then short sentences, verbs, adjectives, numbers. Each class will include grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading and speaking. Initially, I will speak more during the class and later I will let and help the student to speak in German.
My teaching method is have fun while learning a new language, every language is useful and to improve your language skills it is important to use the language on a regularly basis.
My motto is that there is no such thing as a stupid question. I am very patient and make sure the student gets a thorough understanding. Each topic is approached gradually step by step basis to build up the understanding.
I use the communicative approach. I focus on mainly using German during my lessons to give you full immersion (but if you are a beginner, I usually start explaining a lot in English and reduce the amount of English as quickly as possible). I can explain German in an easy to understand way and I can break down problems to their very core.
I do not want people to have to learn of by heart and really discourage this, instead I place importance on the basics of the subject from which I can build up. I try to make to make my classes as interactive as possible.
I base classes on the individual goals of each student or group and target the most important and immediate knowledge one might has to use. Whether you're a beginner or already quite good at speaking, writing, grammar...
My teaching methods depend on the person I am working with as everyone has individual needs and learning preferences. The age and language level play a significant role as well. Generally, I put a great emphasis on getting to the root of the problem and finding out where exactly the difficulties lie.
My teaching is all about speaking. By engaging with interesting materials for my clients, I aim to quickly improve their spoken German. Depending on the level, I help to gain the necessary vocabulary and grammar to have or improve conversations and reduce the accent.
Teaching methodology is customized and depends on the student. I can help with homework, test preparation, oral language proficiency or anything else at hand. In my view, lessons should be fun and informative to ensure maximum comprehension and retention of the material.
Teaching German: I would start teaching about general, basic phrases or questions in German (e.g. My name is [ ] , How are you?) and later on include grammar, reading and writing. My goal is to make the class as exciting and fun as possible so that the students are motivated to learn. Depending on the age of the student/s I would alter between the class being more efficient/ exciting.
I am a true believer that a language is learned by speaking. Grammar will be of course taught as well, but the best way to practise it is by speaking it! I teach beginners, so we can start with easy things like Verbs, Sentence-building etc.
I would like to try and tailor my style towards the needs and wants of whoever I am helping, whether that be through more informal conversation to gain familiarity and vocabulary or more structured written work to improve grammar.
My teaching method is quite relaxed, I will adapt my teaching pace based on you and will structure my lessons very closely around your needs. My character as a teacher is quite fun as I feel like this makes learning a lot more easy, however this can also be adjusted.
My teaching methodology is to follow a specific speck, in this case the German GCSE speck. I’ll provide the student with appropriate vocabular and grammar for each topic and test their knowledge by giving them exam papers.
I base my classes on the students. Having completed the A-Level course myself, I understand that it is demanding and I am sympathetic to how difficult it can be to learn lots of new vocab and all the grammar rules.
My teaching methods are based on the needs of each individual student and classes are tailored to help students achieve the goals they set for themselves
I love speaking about your life, day to day and simply exchange ideas, while helping you communicate better, correct pronunciation.
I approach teaching languages always from what people are most interested in and on their level of knowledge.
I am currently a year 13 student at James Allen's Girls' School in Dulwich. I study French, German and History at A level and Pre-U level. I got A* in both French and German at IGCSE. I can teach primary school to secondary school children French/German.
Unlike a synthetic approach of learning phrases, I advocate a systematic understanding of the language, i.e. include historic and comparative elements, in order to lay a foundation of familiarity, upon which words, sentences and texts can be easier to comprehend. The other two basic elements which are particularly important for English speakers are grammar and pronunciation.
Every person learns different, it is important to me to find out how my student learns best and which way of learning he enjoys most. Repetition and fun is key otherwise there will be no progress! There shouldn’t be any pressure in the class, I want my students to learn with me not for me.
I teach students in all ages A1-B1 with these languages: english ,german and tagalog. I am excellent in teaching on how to read and write. Please book my lesson and you will see more from me as a german teacher.
I give lesssons to primary school , gcse and a levels I was born in Germany I am now 6 yesterday in England I will use easy words and easy explaining for you to understand and making it fun for you
Having acquired a very academic approach, I seek to implement a structured lesson- based methodology to my classes. However, my experience with students from different age ranges and academic backgrounds make me suitable to tail my approach depending on individual needs of the student.
