About Oscar
I am a native Hong Kong Cantonese speaker currently based in the UK, with experience in multilingual communication, healthcare interpreting, and one-to-one language tutoring. I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English fluently, and I enjoy helping students build confidence in real conversational Cantonese rather than relying only on textbook phrases.
My teaching style is patient, practical, and personalised. I understand the common pronunciation and grammar difficulties learners face, especially English speakers and heritage learners wanting to reconnect with Cantonese.
