About Rahul

I am an experienced Edexcel A-Level Economics teacher at a top London grammar school, former A-Level examiner, LSE Economics graduate and Cambridge MBA graduate. I have taught Economics for over 20 years at highly selective schools. My most recent A-Level Economics cohort of over 40 students achieved 76% A–A*. My examining experience gives me a detailed understanding of how Edexcel answers are assessed, why students lose marks and what distinguishes the highest-scoring responses. I enjoy helping students of all abilities, whether they need to strengthen their understanding or are aiming for an A*.

Alongside my school teaching, I have recently begun offering private A-Level Economics tuition. I am taking on a small number of students so that I can provide highly personalised support, tailored to each student’s understanding, confidence and target grade.

About the lesson

I offer personalised Edexcel A-Level Economics tuition for Year 12 and Year 13 students, focusing on clear explanations, economic analysis, evaluation, diagrams, essay technique and past-paper practice. Lessons are interactive, supportive and tailored to each student's needs and target grade.

Tuition is £50 per hour, face-to-face only, for students living in or very close to Hendon (NW4). The complimentary 30-minute introductory telephone consultation is to discuss tuition needs, not a teaching session.

Please provide your chosen course and approximate location when contacting me. I am only able to cater to students within easy reach of Hendon NW4, for example Hendon, Finchley, Golders Green, Hampstead.
