As a high school student, I understand the difficulty of school, the frustration of not understanding a topic, and sometimes even the lack of enjoyment for school. I am very flexible and patient, and able to work with all types of students. I will begin the session by spending a few minutes to connect with the student and create a comfortable environment. A good relationship is important in order for success. I then ask what they need help with, and assist them to the best of my ability. My goal is that they become proficient in the topic, and can complete related problems without any help.
I am aware that people learn best in many different ways, and am very willing to adjust methods and techniques according to the person.
