About Robert
I studied engineering. Then spent 25 years travelling the world making adverts. My specialism as chocolate advertising. But I;ve also started nd run companies. One with Deborah Meaden from Dragons's Den. I also fly helicopters. I believe in trying to have fun in everything you do. It does take work, which is why I got a good degree, but you won't succeed unless you enjoy it. Learning can often seem remote. But I like to bring lessons to life by illustrating how what you learn can be used in real life.

Learning can be fun. I spent many years in the advertising and communication business which has taught me:
1. To keep things simple - If you throw someone 6 tennis balls they’ll drop them all. If you throw them 1 then they’ll likely catch it.
2. Communication needs to be fun – We’re all human. Stuff we don’t like, we ignore or avoid. Stuff we do like, draws us towards it
3. Make it real – Bring things to life by demonstrating relevance in everyday life.
